As travelers ourselves, who recently moved their family to New Zealand from Australia, we’re delighted to share the Peace Train with you and your family. We’ve poured our heart and soul into appointing the Peace Train with all the key items and comforts that will allow you to sit back and enjoy this majestic land. Here’s is what we have waiting for you and your family: - Comfy sleeping arrangements. With 6 berths, including 3 separate sleeping area’s, the Peace Train ensures a good night's rest, so travelers can recharge after a day of exploration. - Free linen service. Take comfort knowing we’ve a set of linen waiting for you to use at no extra cost. It covers all 3 beds so you can travel as light as possible. - Well appointed Kitchen. The well-equipped kitchen is set up with the self-sufficient traveler in mind, providing the tools needed to prepare meals and enjoy picnics in the midst of nature. Includes microwave, picnic set, outdoor dining set up. We also have a small gas BBQ grill if you wish to borrow. - Battery / Solar. We’ve doubled battery capacity to set you up for up to 4 days off-grid. - Bike Rack. Adventure ready with triple bike rack. We also have a couple of basic adult bikes we freely share (BYO Helmet). - Van is really easy to drive. Mercedes engine that manages NZ conditions really well. 90km Limit in NZ for Motorhomes and I find I get around 10.5 litres per 100km at that speed (on the flat). Rear reverse camera and large side mirrors make the vehicle very easy to drive and park. No extra licences needed. - Self contained (certified). You can literally pull up on the side of the road anywhere in NZ with the Peace Train! Such a cool way to cruise and check the country out at your own pace and stop where and when you want. Our cosy motorhome ensures an unforgettable Kiwi adventure, allowing you kick back and experience this beautiful land in the comfort of your own privacy.
