Please read carefully: If you would like to book Airport DELIVERY AND DROP OFF please select '$150.00 Airport Delivery' option - Airport is DUNEDIN. If you want to book EITHER Delivery OR Drop Off please select $100.00 'One Way Drop Off 1 hour from base' and specify in your message. We will charge extra for 'late' check-out (after 4pm) and 'early' check in (before 10am). If you would like to use the van 'one way' / drop off or pick up in another city please message us, we might be able to make it work (at an extra cost). Thank you! Hiring rules

• General Rules:
• No offroad driving
• No extended driving on gravel if there is a sealed option as this may damage the van. No driving on noncouncilapproved gravel roads, ski field access roads or prohibited NZTAlisted roads. If you drive on a gravel road, you must travel under 60km/h. After driving on gravel, you will need to take to a selfwash station and wash thoroughly before returning, or a $150.00 Cleaning fee will apply. This includes UNDER the chassis areas. Any damage caused by stone chips from gravel will be charged. Vehicles are not permitted on Skippers Road (Queenstown), Ball Hutt Road (Mt. Cook). Make sure there is enough clearance for the campervan. If in doubt, DO NOT go. MANY gravel roads will have overhanging trees or very narrow oneway passes that will not fit the camper
• No smoking inside the RV
• Pets allowed only upon application
• Hirer age restrictions 25
• Awning must be packed away in case of windy weather
• RV must be returned tidy or a cleaning fee may be applied
• Compost toilet must be cleaned if used, failure to do so will result in $100.00 cleaning fee
• Vehicle Must be returned with a full tank of fuel (diesel), and grey water tank emptied. Failure to do so will result in a Fee of $150.00 being charged
• RUCs Road User Charges are additional and calculated via the vehicle's odometer reading at time of return. All Road User Charges (RUC) are charged at a rate of 0.09c per km. Camplify Will deduct on completion of the hire.
• Kilometer limits (daily or perhire basis)e.g. 200km/day and charged $1.00 per kilometer after that.
• Emergency, If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call us or Camplify on 0800 779 779
• DAMAGE, If damage happens, you must report it immediately who, what, where and when will be required.

• Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

  Big Chung was an excellent choice of van! We spent just over two weeks in her, travelling all around the south island. She never let us down! She had ample fridge and storage space, so we did one big food shop in Dunedin and then were able to cook and eat from that for our whole trip. There's enough storage space in the back of the van for large suitcases too, so no need to worry that you'll be tripping over your stuff. The van felt safe and private, and we always felt really smug when we'd pull up to the free camping spots with all the great facilities she had! I couldn't reccomend Christopher and big chung enough. His communication was excellent! I'm looking for an excuse to book the van again!

  We enjoyed an awesome week around the South Island. Was the perfect set up for two of us and Chris was amazing with his communication and tutorials on how to get the most out of our time in his van. Everything worked faultlessly and cant recommend both Chris and his van enough. Will be top of our list for our next adventure!!

  We had a great time with Big Chung! Lots of space inside, comfortable and spacious bed and well-equipped kitchen with a good fridge with freezer. The 5 solar panels on top ensured we never needed a powered site even though we sometimes used quite some electricity. Never had any issues with parking or finding camping spots even though it's quite a long van. Van heats up quickly with the diesel heater and cools down quickly with windows open and fan on. All in all couldn't wish for anything more and very happy we went with this option instead of a smaller or expensive van from a commercial company. Christopher is a great guy, handovers were super smooth and he was very helpful!

  Big Chung was big fun ! Chris was great at communicating and provided us with the best tool(Big Chung) to have a very comfortable, fun and safe trip around the South Island. Van is very well equipped and lots of power for the big hills. Bed is really comfortable and van is surprisingly warm and soundproof thanks to its wool insulation. Lots of storage space and kitchen has everything you need with good size fridge that even kept our ice cream frozen:)

  Was even better than we expected, so much room in there with pretty much unlimited power! Everything was so comfortable really felt like we were living in luxury ! Having a proper size fridge was such a bonus was great for storing all our food and the cooker worked great too. The hammocks were such a delight on the side of the van, absolutely perfect sitting up on a lake over looking the mountains. Drove all the around the South Island with ease and never had any problems with it. Chris was a pleasure to deal with, Im glad we chose this instead of just getting a standard little van! Trip of a life time !
