Hard suitcases are not permitted in Trailspark as in the past they have damaged our vehicle. Should you be traveling with hardcases we will happily store them for the duration of your hire returning to you at the end of your hire - free of charge!

Additional information

RUC's payable (Road User Charges) due to the camper being a diesel vehicle this is a NZ government law requirement.

Hiring rules

NO SMOKING Strictly no smoking or vaping within the vehicle.
KILOMETER LIMITATIONS maximum average daily milage is 200km per day. Additional milage is charged at 40 cents per kilometer and charged on completion of hire.
RUC (Road User Charge) is paid to the New Zealand government and is charged at $9.00 per 100 kilometers. The total RUCs will calculated on the total distance covered during the hire period and charged in cash on completion of hire.
NORTH ISLAND TRAVEL If your intention is to travel to the North Island of New Zealand we require your travel dates and a copy of return ferry booking.
FUEL All hires include a full tank DIESEL on pickup. It is a requirement to return the vehicle with a full tank on completion of hire.
CLEANING The vehicle must be returned clean internally and externally or a cleaning charge will be applied.
SELF CONTAINED CERTIFICATION Our van is Green Sticker Certified which is the latest New Zealand freedom camping requirement should you wish to freedom camp.
Freedom camping certified where the vehicle has all the requirements and documentation to freedom camp in designated freedom areas. There is a $150.00 new toilet fee required in cash upon vehicle pickup.
All traffic, parking, toll or camping cost/infringements are the responsibility of the hirer.
Collection hours for Trailspark
Collect between 12 noon and 2pm
Returning Trailspark 10am.

Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Pricing

Hire Fee: From $75.00 per day
Service fee: $80.00
Delivery fee: $1.20 per km

Cancellations

Strict

Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

Had an amazing trip and loved the van. It was equipped with everything I needed and Celia and Simon were very responsive and helpful. Would recommend to anyone who wants to explore this amazing country!
