Vanscape NZ presents our second true kiwi camper van, Van Gogh. Inspired by the native forests of NZ, we have created a truly unique piece of art for an epic road trip in rustic luxury. Seven years of van life experience and two years of success with our first rental camper (Vanessa) has lead us to finish our project and offer him for others to enjoy too. If you are interested to see what our hirers say about us and Vanessa please visit : https://www.camplify.co.nz/rv/campervan-rental-queenstown-vanessa/45290?hireTypeId=4 A 3.0L turbo Deisel AWD, with all terrain tyres, and automatic transmission - he's super easy to drive and won't get stuck if you want to get that prime camping spot next to the lake, or up that hill. Pull out the awning, get out the table and chairs, set up the gas-cooker and chef up a storm with Vangogh's well equipped kitchen. No annoying bed setup and set down procedure required with our super comfortable double-layer fixed bed. You'll be so comfy, and with all light kept at bay you can really enjoy that sleep in if you need it! Plug your phones in to charge with Vangogh's USB ports (up front and in the back) or handy power bank provided. Pump the tunes on the Bluetooth headunit or wind down the windows and take in the journey. Here at Vanscape we offer you more than just a van. We would love to help you have the best trip possible and can offer advice from where to camp to the route you should take, and everything in between. Let us and Vangogh guide you on the trip of a lifetime - the beginning of your New Zealand love story. **Please scroll down to the additional information section for more detail including what comes with our van πŸ˜€

Additional information

Reliability is key here at Vanscape. Rest assured our vans are maintained mechanically to a very high standard and checked between each hire! Ollie is a qualified mechanic with 15+ years experience, and works full time for one of NZs top Motorsport teams! VanGogh is located in Queenstown and available for: - Airport or Accommodation pickup and drop off (Included) - Cromwell and Wanaka Pick-up/Drop-off is also available Please note VanGogh is not certified self-contained - But were you really going to not shower for your whole trip?? Or #2 in your bedroom..? Didn't think so! SC vans of this size normally don't have a shower, and the toilet is right in the kitchen or by the bed. The only difference is that you can't stay in some free areas that don't have toilet blocks. These are normally small, crowded gravel carparks or noisy roadside areas anyway, and in our opinion - not enjoyable and definitely not how you should be seeing NZ! There are many awesome DOC campgrounds and others that offer very cheap (sometimes free) stays between your visits to nicer ones that have showers πŸ™‚ We have traveled this way for roughly seven years and are happy to offer an abundance of advice, so please feel free to ask us when you request to book! Our customers have loved travelling this way too! It is, however, important that you fully understand the rules. Please visit: https://www.doc.govt.nz/parks-and-recreation/places-to-stay/stay-at-a-campsite/freedom-camping/ and https://www.mbie.govt.nz/dmsdocument/26797-infringement-offences-table-for-website-pdf *** ABOUT VANGOGH *** Vehicle: - Reliable 1997 Toyota Hiace - 3.0L Turbo Diesel Engine - Automatic Transmission - All wheel drive - All terrain tyres - Bluetooth stereo - Central locking with keyless entry - Roof racks - Tow bar - Awning (super easy to set up) + tie downs and side cover - Spare tyre and tools to change it SLEEPING - Fixed bed size: 1750 long x 1260 wide (close to the size of a double bed 1880x1370) If you are a little taller - no worries, the bedding is oversized and you won’t have cold feet! This van definitely made our trip a 10/10. Its designed so well, had everything we needed and was very functional. The wooden finishes inside are so unique and really make the experience even more amazing. We loved spending time in it. Such a cool van!! We had so many people asking about it. Ollie was such a great host! Communication was unreal, booking process was clear and easy, handover was great and helpful. Ollies travel tips and overall experience made us very comfortable with the trip from the get go. Would definitely recommend booking this van!! The toy bird on the dash is named Vinny btw.

I travelled solo in this van and it was the most special experience!! Ollie and his partner have put so much love and care into it; there are so many special touches. Not only does it look beautiful, it's super functional and has everything you need! Double gas stove, camping chairs, blankets, nice towels, all utensils and crockery (cute ones too!). The van has big new tyres meaning you feel safe and it drives like a dream - I travelled all the way from Queenstown to Marlborough Sounds and back with no issues. Whilst I travelled solo, it would also be perfect for a couple. Ollie was fab. He did a thorough handover and was communicative when we needed him. When I handed the van back it was clear Ollie and his partner were passionate about the van they'd made, which was a lovely experience. Highly recommend!!!! Thank you Ollie for a very special trip x

Rach and I are Kiwis from Dunedin and Timaru, who have been living in Queenstown for the past 5 years. We love getting out in our vans and being amongst nature, walking our doggos, hiking, kayaking and snowboarding. We have been doing the Vanlife thing for a good 7 years now so have much to offer in the way of tips and tricks and would love to help you with your experience of the epic New Zealand Vanscape.
