This is 2 berth van fitted out with premium components and designed with practicality in mind. The bed slides out from under the seating area to created a double bed with a new high density foam mattress. A house battery and solar panels keep your electronics charged, fridge cold and lights bright. There's a large 60L fridge to keep your food, and most importantly, beers cold and fresh. Also in the kitchen is a 2 ring butane cook top, quality pots and pans and all the utensils you could need in a van. Being a chef, you find some good olive oil, salt and pepper, a good chefs knife and some basic spices, ready for you to hit the road

This is self contained for 2 people under the new "green" regulations. Hilary is a diesel so fuel will be cheaper, however road user charges will be charged at $0.09 per km.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Matt was very easy to communicate with. Nothing was a problem. He appreciated our feedback. I could have spent more time checking details like driver foot room and head space when sitting on the bed. I am tall. He did have this detailed but I missed it. Great weekender. Had everything we needed. Was warm and dry.

    Easy van for a beautiful journey. The car has seen better days, but it has plenty of charm. And the advantage is that it can go anywhere. Simple and effective. Matthew is very responsive when you contact him.

    Hillary was perfect for us. Got us everywhere we needed to go and did not skip a beat going up passes and hills. Matthew was super communicative and helpful. I think this is the perfect van for traveling South Island! Its comfortable for two, just dont bring too much stuff. (: The drivers seat isnt the roomiest for people over 6ft.

    Our 18-day adventure was unforgettable, and the van proved to be the perfect travel partner! It was compact enough to park anywhere but still spacious enough for the two of us to feel comfortable throughout the trip. Communication with Matt was excellent! Id definitely book againthank you!
