Our motorhomes are fully equipped to ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable trip. Hiring rules

  • We are closed for handovers on the following dates (public holidays): 25th Dec, 26th Dec, 1st Jan, 2nd Jan and Easter Friday to Monday.
  • We have variable minimum hire periods, which are longer over the peak season.
  • No smoking or vaping in the vehicle or under the awning (if fitted). Failure to comply would result in excess cleaning fees.
  • No cooking of strongsmelling foods such as curries inside the vehicle. Failure to comply will result in a $500.00 cleaning fee.
  • No pets permitted.
  • Vehicle Must be returned with full tank of diesel and AdBlue, gas refilled and grey/black water tanks emptied. Failure to do so will result in a Fee of $150.00, plus the cost of diesel, AdBlue and gas being charged.
  • Please allow 4590 minutes to complete pick up and 1030 minutes for drop off procedures
  • The vehicle must be returned clean. Dishes washed and put away, bench surfaces wiped down, sand and dirt swept outside. Failure to so will result in a Fee of $150.00.
  • If adding a BBQ, this must be returned clean. Failure to so will result in a Fee of $100.00.
  • If the awning is damaged, there is an additional $1,000.00 to be paid, on top of the excess due to high risk of damage.
  • RUCs Road User Charges are additional and calculated via the vehicle's odometer reading at time of return. All Road User Charges (RUC) are charged at a rate of $0.09 per km.
  • Road restrictions apply as follows: (a) Vehicles can only be driven on sealed/bitumen roads. (b) Vehicles are not permitted on Skippers Road (Queenstown), Ball Hutt Road (Mt. Cook), Ninety Mile Beach (Northland) and North of Colville Township (Coromandel Peninsula). Our vehicles are also not permitted on any ski field access roads.
  • Pick up and return times must be between 9:30am and 4:00pm. Late returns (after 4pm) may incur an addition days' hire charge.
  • Oneway hires are permitted but must be arranged prior and there will be a relocation fee or $1,500.00 (within South Island) or $2,000.00 (within North Island) and must be near an Airport.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Highly recommend. Shane and Hayley were helpful and informative from the moment we enquired until we dropped the van off. They supplied all the necessities for the kitchen and bathroom as well as some extra local treats to get us started. They were readily contactable at any time. The motorhome itself was in pristine condition, fabulously set out and had a space for everything. Everything was super easy to use.
