Everything went perfectly. The communication and service were very professionalI highly recommend it. The campervan was in perfect condition. The welcome and handover were excellent and very pleasant. The campervan was prepared with great attention to detail, with thoughtful little touches that were much appreciated. Shane and Hayley were very helpful and responsive to our questions and preparation in the lead up to arriving in Christchurch. The van unexpectedly came stocked with NZ branded goodies and they even threw in an extra blanket for a cold snap during our trip. Everything was in good working condition and the battery life allowed us to freedom camp for days at a time. Would hire again!

The van is incredible. It was exactly as advertised and provided us with an amazing holiday. It looked very nice and everything worked perfectly for our family of 4. The host, Shane, is just as incredible. Super friendly and nice and a complete pleasure to meet. Thanks Shane!

Shane at SpringLight was very helpful on the choice of motorhome and Stan the Van performed brilliantly over the hire period. Shane was clear with the vehicle handover and on return and very helpful with motels and campsites recommendations. I would have no hesitation in recommending SpringLight for touring New Zealand!

We chose SpringLight Motorhomes to book our motorhome holiday as you can select which van you like, as opposed to being what is available from other motorhome companies. We had Felix who was brand new to Shane at SpringLight. It was spotless and neat and tidy with gas cooker, gas 3 hob top, good cupboard space, large fridge, compact shower and separate loo and a comfy bed. We loved the bug screens! We made use of the heater on a couple of nights, we were able to phone Shane when we needed assistance with getting the heating going and he was very prompt to help us! Overall an excellent van, easy to drive and park. We would definitely book via SpringLight again in the future.

Working with SpringLight was fantastic. An exceptional company with spotless and well maintained vehicles. Customer service is exceptional. We were referred to Springlight by a friend who also had a great experience. Shane is immediately responsive and has a lot of knowledge about campervan/rv rental in NZ. They are a small company with personalized care. I have heard it can be very impersonal with the bigger companies. Shane met us at the airport and spent a lot of time with us getting to know the van. He was VERY thorough so we felt comfortable driving away. Also we did not have to wait hours in line to get our van. Another HUGE plus is that the rental company logo is not plastered all over the van. There is a small logo on the back. So you aren't marked as a tourist as you travel around the country. Shane also enjoyed getting pictures of us on our travels. I highly recommend Springlight to anyone travelling to the South Island of New Zealand.

We had a fantastic trip in Little Lucy; the layout was perfect for a couple. The Van was clean, modern and well equipped. Shane's communication was thorough and made for a trouble free pick up and drop off.

We had an excellent time, Shane from SpringLight has sorted an issue we had with the batterie very efficient and always replied very quickly. The van was clean and perfect for us for our 5 weeks of travelling. Handover and Return worked all very well. We can recommend this camper and the rental company.
