FREE Wi-Fi. Bedding/linen and towels for up to 6 persons are already covered in the service fee. Just a heads up on the RUC Recovery Fee (Road User Charge): It's a government tax on diesel vehicles in New Zealand. Since Te Arawa runs on diesel, the RUC is $0.09 per km ($9.00 per 100km), and this gets settled at the end of your hire. When you bring back the motorhome, kindly make sure to clear out all the rubbish and empty the toilet and grey water tanks. If you're looking for a swift drop-off, you can opt for the $150.00 additional cleaning fee, and we'll handle this for you. Please note, we offer free drop-offs in Rotorua!

Hiring rules

• Drivers must be aged 25 or older and possess a full license.
• Stay on the beaten path – no offroad, beach cruising, or extensive gravel road adventures.
• Keep it fresh inside – no smoking allowed.
• Before bidding adieu, make sure to empty the toilet and grey water tanks.
• Top up the LPG and diesel tanks before returning.
• For those BBQ enthusiasts, give it a good clean before the return journey; a $100.00 surcharge will be applied if returned less than spick and span.
• In case of an emergency, heed the engine lights on the dashboard – pull over pronto. If things go south, get off the road, stay safe, and dial Camplify at 03 668 1211.
• Should any mishaps occur, report them ASAP – we'll need the who, what, where, and when details.
• Thinking of taking the scenic route? Unsealed roads require written approval through Camplify Messages before kickstarting your adventure. Familiarize yourself with the booking's exclusions, terms, and conditions.

  We had the best whnau holiday in Te Arawa! This was our first experience in a motorhome and I can say it definitely wont be our last! We loved the convenience of not having to pack and unpack wherever we went - just a few small checks, unplug and go. We received many compliments from friends and whnau who are now also considering hiring a camper/motorhome. Katarina is such an amazing host, she explained everything thoroughly and we also chose the drop off/pick up option which was very convenient for us. We would definitely hire Te Arawa again!

  Our holiday was amazing, Katarina is highly communicative and provided everything we needed and more. I would highly recommend this motorhome. Be careful of going down any uneven surfaces or dips with this motorhome, unfortunately we turned into a driveway that had a low dip on one end and the back bender caught and ripped it was dark and hard to see the dip. Luckily I had the happy camper insurance cover and my excess is minor compared to the risk taker.

  Te Arawa is a fabulously well equipped camper and Katarina is a fabulous host & owner! This was the simplest campervan holiday we've had as we stayed locally for the mountain biking. Katarina made the experience so easy for us. We loved the little extras and this was by far the best equipped campervan we've hired (and we've hired many). We would absolutely hire Te Awara from Katarina again.
