Hiring rules

• If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 1300 416 133. They will then call the NRMA (24/7 Roadside Assistance).
• If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. Call Camplify on 1300 416 133. They will then call the NRMA (24/7 Roadside Assistance). Then call us!
• Minor damage here and there is an unfortunate reality of life on the road. We get it, things happen. If damage happens, please report it to us immediately. Who, what, where and when will be required if we have to make an insurance claim, or for smaller costs, we can work something out.
• Offroading is not permitted.
• Short stretches of unsealed roads to access a campsite (as per camplify's rules) is permitted.
• Beach Driving (although fun) is not permitted
• Not insured to travel to many of the ski field access roads. NO chains to be fitted to vehicle
• NO SMOKING inside
• All rentals are Full to Full, so please return with a full tank of PETROL
• We have a clean the van for me option, so you can focus on the adventure, and we will do the cleaning for you on your return. If you opt to clean the van yourself, we do not expect perfection, but we do expect a reasonable level of cleanliness. We will provided basic cleaning equipment and there is a pay per minute car wash on Glenda Drive (5 mins from drop off location). Excessive cleaning required on the return with incur an additional cleaning fee.
• Toilet, if used, must be emptied and cleaned. Toilet chemicals are supplied, and will need to be added before use. A fee of $200.00 will be charged for failure to return the toilet clean.
• A good music playlist is required for all bookings.
• Fun is not optional, as per New Zealand Road Trip laws.

• Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

  Words cannot describe how perfect our trip was because of this van. Sure, its just a self contained van, how amazing could it be? But the heart of it is the owners Jono and Ben. Their love for adventure beams through this vehicle. Everything is built so intuitively. From the pullout stove in the back, to the luggage straps in the shelves, every moment of your trip has been meticulously thought out before you even THINK about booking your adventure. We are so incredibly honoured to have been the first ever booking of 'Giovanni,' a name so hilarious its now an inside joke. The handover was thorough and we were met with incredible warmth from the moment we showed up. Jono and Ben had the best recommendations for hidden gems and great freedom camp spots that would have us as basking in the beauty of nature, completely on our own. No need to bring your own fairy lights or dish soap, because this van has it all. But thats not everything. The pillow situation was heavenly. Our heads have never been blessed by such comfort. 'Giovanna,' is more than just a van. It's love, and it shines from every surface. Thank you so so so much. We are so excited for everyone else who gets to have their adventures with this van.   We had such a wonderful time in Giovanni. Collecting the van and handover was seamless, and Jono filled us in on all the info we needed to feel super confident using the van. The van drives really nicely, with lots of range in the height of the front seat (Im 53 and had great visibility). The bed is surprisingly spacious and comfortable for 2 people (my partner is 64!). It has heaps of storage space, and its easy to keep your bags off the floor/bed so they dont get in the way (definitely a huge advantage over some vans I have previously rented). The cooking setup was straightforward to use and the pullout style and extendable countertop made for heaps of space. Jono & Giovanni made our nights away in the van an awesome experience I will definitely be renting again for more nights in the future!
