Additional information

Set-up guide given to the hirer upon pick up to assist you in your camping experience. Self-contained green sticker and licence is included. Linen: if linen is added as an extra, a duvet, four pillows and bedding with covers will be included. Bath towels and tea towels will also be added. Delivery/drop off: Could arrange to drop off the van at New Plymouth Airport or drive to meet hirer upon request when booking is made (depending on distance from the city). Emergency: If any engine lights come on the dashboard, please pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road and stay safe. Please call Camplify on 0800 779 779 and they will send road side assistance. Power: Cruze is solar powered, but if additional power is required, a RCD power cord with a camping plug is included. The cord does not plug into the van, so it would have to be externally fed.

Hiring rules

• No smoking or vaping inside the van.
• No Pets.
• No off road driving, beach driving or extended driving on gravel roads.
• Beware of the weather when setting up the awning. They can be fragile.
• COOKING: Please do not cook inside the van with the gas cooker. Use the side drawer that pulls the stove out and cook there or on the table provided.
• CLEANING: Please clean the vans interior before returning the vehicle. This includes the toilet, cutlery, plates/bowls and the cooking pots and pans. You don't need to wash the bedding if you added that extra.
• WATER TANKS: Please empty the waste water tank before returning the vehicle. Please make sure to wash out the waste water tank and pipes with clean water.
• FUEL: Please return the vehicle with a full tank of PETROL. Van rentals come provided with a full fuel tank before departure.
• DAMAGE: If any damage was to occur to the van, please report it immediately. Make sure to include the details of what/when/where/who.
• If you wanted to cross between the North and South Island, be sure to book the ferry in advance.

• Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

  It was a wonderful and comfortable experience. I did not face any difficulties with the internal sleeping space. It is quite sufficient. Everything is clean and fully equipped.   Driving the van was way easier than I expected, especially given the generally narrow, steep, and winding roads Ive come to expect in NZ. The snub nose of the van makes it surprisingly easy to park, even in pretty tight spaces. And you have to love a good back-up camera. Drives pretty well in rainy conditions, and the defroster knocks fog off the window right quick. Such easy airport pick-up, and a great way to explore the Taranaki region with its many freedom camping options. Easy to cook a hot dinner, and nice to have cold drinks at the end of a long day. Highly recommend this form of travel.

  Great first camping holiday. Was a real treat seeing our beautiful backyard. Van was spotless and the interior was clean ,fresh and tidy. The homebaking was a welcomed delight. Communication with Danielle was responsive, clear, and pleasant. Pick up and drop off was easy no problems at all. Thanks.
