Dominik is the ultimate travel buddy. A steady cruiser This Toyota Hiace is reliable and fitted out in a classic retro design. This is one of our most requested Vans as It is our most spacious Van being a long wheel base. It has plenty of room for your luggage or to bring your bicycle along for the ride. Lovely long bed for taller people with comfy squabs and a foam mattress topper. It also includes quality 100 percent cotton sheets and warm duvet for those colder nights down South. It runs on Diesel and is very economical to run doing aprox 800 kms on one tank of gas. Diesel tax applies. It also carries a surcharge after 200kms per day. Easy to drive automatic . Suitable for North island rentals only. It comes with all the extras. 2 batteries. camping chairs and table, please request, no charge tea coffee oil salt and pepper, Plates, cutlery, pots and pans. small cooler box to keep drinks and a small amount of food chilled. Camp cooker and gas canisters. Toilet. Camp table and chairs available for no charge but please request these at not everyone wants them included. Booking includes 200kms a day over all your trip and a small surcharge if over. We can deliver to anywhere in Raglan or Hamilton with no charge. Hamilton bus station or airport for no charge . We can also deliver to Auckland Airport for a drop off fee to cover diesel and car park as parking is difficult with no waiting areas. We also suggest booking the direct bus service from Auckland airport to Hamilton with Intercity buses. First and foremost, I must mention Frank and Sue - they are the loveliest couple who took great care of me and made sure I was good to go before my adventure began. "Dominique" itself was a real treat. He was big and roomy, providing enough space for two people to move around comfortably. Despite its size, it handled steadily on the road and had surprisingly good fuel usage, which was a big plus for our budget. The kitchen setup was great, with everything we needed to prepare meals on the go. There was plenty of storage space for all our gear and supplies. Even on rainy days, we had enough room inside to relax and play games, making it a cozy haven with it's fairylights. Overall, "Dominique" provided the perfect balance of comfort, practicality, and charm. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a memorable road trip experience. Thanks to the wonderful owners and this fantastic van, our journey was unforgettable!
