Peace of Mind While You Travel White Bigfoot is fitted with a GPS tracker to ensure your safety throughout the journey. In case of an emergency or unexpected event, we’re able to locate the van and assist quickly. It also helps protect your belongings while you’re out exploring, so you can enjoy your adventure with confidence.

Hiring rules

• 🚨 EMERGENCY
• If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, and call Camplify on 0800 779 779.
• 🛠️ DAMAGE
• If any damage occurs, you must report it immediately. Include who, what, where, when, and provide photo documentation.
• 🚫 RULES
• • No offroad, no beach driving, no extended gravel roads
• • No smoking inside
• • Unsealed roads must be preapproved in writing via Camplify Messages before your trip begins.
• Please ensure you’re familiar with the exclusions, terms, and conditions of your booking.
• ⛽ FUEL
• Return the van with a full tank of 91 petrol – all hires include a full tank upon departure.
• 🧼 CLEANING (if you haven’t selected “Clean de Van for Me”)
• The campervan must be returned clean and tidy, inside and out, including toilet and water tanks.
• If the camper is not returned in the same condition as provided, an automatic cleaning fee will be charged.
• 🛣️ TOLL ROADS
• Tolls must be paid within 5 days at www.nzta.govt.nz.
• ⛴️ SOUTH ISLAND TRAVEL

  Myself and my partner hired Bigfoot for a long weekend, which was perfect for a little getaway! It had all the things we needed like cutlery , chairs and table. You have a sink and fridge as well to keep and store your food in. It was super tidy and easy to use. Jaynie was amazing at communicating when we picked up the van and showing us everything we needed to know and more. The bed was comfortable and warm. The only thing to keep in mind is the bed is shorter then a normal bed as it is in a van so if you are super tall then your feet will be hanging over the edge but overall the experience with the van and travelling was great :) Would definitely do it again and soon!!
