* Pick up/drop off location is approximately a 30-minute drive from Auckland Airport * Betty has a mini fridge (18L) on board [runs on 12V and 240v, approx. 12 hours battery]; I recommend considering also having a chilly bin or using camp ground fridges if you intend to have multiple foods requiring cold storage onboard * Linen package includes 2 x pillows/pillowcases, sheets, 2 x blankets and 2 x towels

Hiring rules

• No smoking in van.
• No offroad driving/beach driving/extended driving on gravel roads.
• No pets on squabs when uncovered. Any pet related stains (paws, urine etc.) anywhere in the van will incur an additional cleaning fee of $120.00 to cover professional steaming.
• Awning must be packed away in poor weather or high winds.
• Vehicle interior (including toilet and waste tank) must be returned cleaned or an additional cleaning fee of $150.00 applies.
• Vehicle must be returned filled with diesel.
• No cooking inside the van; use gascooker provided.
• Any damage must be reported immediately.
• Pull over immediately if an engine light comes on. If any accident occurs come off the road, stay safe and call camplify on 03 668 1211 (they will advise on how to contact roadside assistance). Please then call me.
• Road User Charges (RUC) are additional to your daily set rate and are charged at 0.09c per km travelled.
• Road tolls are additional, and at the drivers expense. These should be advised and paid directly to me.

• Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

  Betty White is a well equipped van and the fact that it runs on diesel makes it economical as well. As mentioned in the listing, the mini fridge between the 2 front seats is very small indeed so keep that in mind if you need a lot of cold storage and perhaps get another cooler if you need to store more food. Brett was a pleasure to deal with and I would highly recommend Betty White for your exploration of New Zealand.
