You can travel without 'plugging in' for between 5 to 7 days. With solar power, gas and battery you are not restricted to powered sites. Tess has the new latest "Green" self containment certificate, permitting you to Freedom Camp. Ample USB ports, Apple Play, DVD Player, Bluetooth and a TV means you can enjoy and connect to your desired devices, whether driving or parked up. A high storage shelf in the garage allows room to store fishing rods or ski's. If raining you can access the garage from inside the van. All windows have fly screens and block out blinds. When two Queen size beds are being used, there is enough space, not to feel claustrophobic. A pull out narrow pantry contains some basics and empty containers for your convenience. A notebook covering all features and concerns, personalized to Tess, is included in the van.

Hiring rules

• 1. No offroad driving / beach driving / extended driving on gravel roads.
• 2. No driving on soft ground or on steep rough roads (because of the front wheel drive).
• 3. No smoking inside.
• 4. Pets only after a discussion and an agreement has been reached,
• 5. Hirer age 25 unless an agreement is reached for younger.
• 6. Awning must be packed away correctly before bad weather arises. Can not be used in wind.
• 7. Vehicle to be returned cleaned to a reasonable standard.
• 8. Small barbecue provided is for outside use only.
• 9. Please empty toilet before returning.
• 10. Return with a full tank of Diesel and three gas bottles filled.
• 11. Call or message me if unsure about anything. Better to ask, so you can enjoy your trip away.
• 12. Road User Charges apply at 9c per KM.
• 13. If a key is lost, the cost to replace will be charged.

• Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

  Overall, it is was a fantastic experience as a first time user of motorhome. It is a bit challenging to figure out how things work at first, but Ngare's made it easy with instructions and notes written on every part of the the motorhome in addition to user manual printed ready, and PDF file sent prior. This reminder guide us and she is always available at anytime we need to clarify anything about operating Tess. It was indeed great experience and she will be highly recommended for those needing motorhome in their trip.

  This was my first trip to New Zealand, and I was so lucky to rent a Tess motorhome from Ngaere! The spacious living room, comfortable double bed, bathroom, kitchen, and every other detail were fantastic. Ngaere provided everything we needed, and she was always there to help when I asked, which made me feel very safe. I'm so grateful to her for giving me the opportunity to explore New Zealand in the Tess.

  We had the absolute best holiday in Tess. She was comfortable, warm and clean, she was our home away from home for eight days. Tess was easy to drive and fully equipped for our little adventure. Ngaere was absolutely brilliant with fantastic communication and she also gave great holiday hotspot for ideas, as this was our first time exploring the top of the south.   S U P E R W A R M ! What a great experience we had as first time campervaners. This van is super warm, nice large bed that lowers down. Spacious bathroom and very peppy engine, hills etc no problem.

  Tess is a wonderful motorhome! Everything worked as Ngaere explained and made our holiday perfect. We were able to go 'offgrid' for the whole week of our travels, allowing us opportunities to visit more distant parts of NZ. It was easy to drive and very comfortable! Ngaere's communication both before and during our visit was exceptional. Highly recommended!!!
