Experience your great New Zealand holiday with this spacious 4-berth motorhome ideal for couples or families. The fixed beds are a bonus; no need to set up your bed every night. We can meet you at the airport or at your preferred location in Christchurch during normal business hours. This 2008 Swift Kon-Tiki motorhome with an automatic gearbox is fully equipped for your New Zealand road trip. The powerful 3000cc motor has done about 170,000 kms and can be driven with a standard car licence. It manages uphill and downhill driving well. (GVM is 4250 kg). TomTom GPS is included and the reversing camera makes parking this 7.4 metre RV easy. Access entry door is from the kerb side – auto retracting step, central locking. It is certified green self-contained with 125 litre fresh water tank and a grey water tank on board, so you can opt to stay either at campsites with 230 volt power supply or at freedom camping sites with the 300 watt solar panel and gas for cooking and heating. The front seats swivel to face the dining/lounge area which has comfortable fabric upholstery and an extendable table. It has a selection of books, cards and board games, radio/CD/Bluetooth and a TV/DVD. (Terrestrial Freeview reception in areas with coverage). The larger-than-usual kitchen has a 3 burner gas hob, oven with grill and extractor fan, a 120 L fridge and 25 L freezer with 3-way power. All cooking equipment pots, crockery and cutlery, coffee and tea and cleaning supplies are included. A toaster, microwave and electric kettle are included for use at camping sites with electric power. Carbon monoxide alarm and smoke alarm fitted. Two 9 kg gas bottles. A Nepresso coffee maker is available on request. The rear double french bed (190 cm) has a firm deep sprung mattress and the spacious double bed above the cab (190 cm x 135 cm) with room for 2 adults or children is accessed by a ladder. Both sleeping areas can be curtained off. All bed linen, towels and beach towels are provided. There is a shower/toilet/washbasin, hot/cold pressurized water. The easy to extend awning, rubber matting, camping chairs and tables will allow you to enjoy the outdoors. If you have any other questions please ask by making a booking request. The camper was exceedingly clean and everything we could need was provided. As we hired over Easter they were also kind enough to do an Easter egg hunt around the RV for our girls, who were over the moon to find chocolate under their pillows!!! Hiring rules

We strongly encourage you to take the full insurance cover.
If you are arriving on a longhaul flight please plan to spend your first night in Christchurch to ensure that you are adequately rested.
Our team is fully vaccinated against Covid 19 and we expect customers to be as well.
DAMAGE If damage happens, you must report it immediately who, what, where and when will be required.
NO music festivals.
NO OFFROAD / NO Beach Driving / NO Extended Gravel Roads/ NO Smoking inside
UNSEALED roads must be preapproved in writing in Camplify Messages before the trip begins. Please be familiar with the exclusions, terms and conditions of insurance coverage.
LONG TRIPS Hirers are welcome to take the van up to an average of 200 km's a day with a maximum of 1800km's included in the normal booking price. After 1800km's, you will be charged 30.c per kilometre at the completion of the trip from your bond. (Most trips are less than 1800km with a few at 2100km which would be an extra $90.00).
FUEL Return full of DIESEL All hires include a full tank upon departure.
Road user charges are additional to the daily rate $9.00 per 100km calculated on completion of the hire.

Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Hire Fee: From $285.00 per day
Service fee: $125.00

Cancellations

Strict

Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
