TED is a fully self-contained 6 berth, 2024, motorhome equipped with everything you need including a full sized bed that pops out the side to give more internal space, bedding, linen, microwave, kitchen utensils and plates, outdoor furniture, BBQ, awning, bike rack and even two electric bikes are available to hire. TED has a great kitchen with 4 burner stove with lots of internal storage. This family motorhome is so modern and perfect for having an amazing adventure for 2 adults and 2 children. (Pls note we only allow a maximum of 4 people even though TED is officially a 6 berth van). Key features: New Comfy bed that you can leave made up (pops out the side to give more space when parked) Dining area Toilet and full separate shower BBQ Nice kitchen area with 4 hob burner, grill, oven and, microwave Linen supplied for the 2 main beds - can also provide sleeping bags Comes with the option of 2 electric bikes (adult)

Hiring rules

  • No offroad driving
  • Road User charges are charged at $0.09c per km.
  • HIRING FOR USE WITHIN NORTH ISLAND ONLY No additional km charge
  • HIRING FOR USE WITHIN NORTH AND SOUTH ISLAND First 150kms per day is included in the rate. Further kms are charged at $0.69 per km plus GST.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    We loved our time with TED. The motorhome was spotless, super comfortable, and had everything we needed for a long New Zealand road trip. Jacqui was awesome to deal with from start to finish friendly, responsive, and flexible - which made the whole experience easy and stress free. Would 100% rent TED again.

    Ted is a high quality motorhome with all of the features we needed. Peter and Jacqui communicated very well and the booking and renting process was very professional. Some highlights from our experience are: - very easy to drive and economical. - high quality linen and a comfortable bed. - the basic pantry really helped as we were coming from overseas. - the shower, fridge, stereo, electric awning and bbq all functioned perfectly. - we had all of the plates, cutlery and kitchen items we needed. - the slide out for the bed gave us lots of additional interior space. Overall, we had a wonderful adventure touring Northland in New Zealand in Ted and would highly recommend it to others. Steve
