If you want a fun, unique motorhome thats full of character to make epic road trip memories in, Amelie is your gal- she is not an old vehicle so less maintenance on those long trips. Please help keep Amelie fit and healthy checking the oil and water regularly is a must and mileage needs to be kept to max 200km per day. If you're planning a trip around the whole of NZ in a week this may not be the van for you! Amelie can also be booked for one way trips - drop-off in Auckland or Christchurch! WHAT YOU'LL BE PROVIDED WITH: SLEEPING: The seating area fits together to become a double sized bed for two. Bring your own linen (sheets, towels), or we can arrange this for you at an additional cost. She has a comfy couch at that back that can be a single bed too! KITCHEN: Amelie comes with a fully equiped kitchen (pots, pans, plates, cutlery, glasses, mugs), a portable gas stove, clean running water and a fold down bench top so you have the option of cooking outside as well as inside. The grey water tank is easy to empty, please do so regularly if you are using a lot of water, only in the designated places (these are always clearly signposted). TOILET: Amelie comes with a fixed toilet. If used please empty before returning, otherwise a $40 fee will incur. OTHER AMENITIES: Amelie comes with an outdoor table, and two chairs. We have other items for hire at additional cost such as surfboards, bikes and more! She has a 1500w inverter to charge your laptop or 240v device. The 12v fridge is like a chest freezer so is very efficient and can be set at what temperature you like to -20 degrees. Good for keeping your meats and beer cold. Charge your phone off the built in usb charger on the switch panel. The electric water pump gives you running water to the large full size sink. Amelie is a dream vehicle to get off the beaten track and explore this beautiful country. EVERY VEHICLE MUST BE RETURNED BY 12PM ON THE RETURN DATE, as per our strict return policy. Unless otherwise discussed and agreed upon at the time of booking, a late fee will apply. Returns exceeding 5 hours late will incur a full-day hire charge, while delays under 5 hours will be charged at a half-day hire rate.
