Discover Max - one way Akl to Chch possible

This is a great find for anyone looking for a great all-rounder camper! Really comfortable and cozy, easy to drive, with all the amenities you need. And for those taller campers this is the one for you! The camper and bed were designed so someone at least 6ft 3in can sleep and stand comfortably. NOTE: For booking over Easter 2025, pick up must be before 2pm on Friday April 18th, and returned after 9am Tuesday April 29th, as we will be away ourselves between those dates. It is possible for this to be picked up in Auckland and dropped off in Christchurch (Hoon Hay), for an extra charge of $2,000. If you're interested, please put in a request and message us to ask if it's possible. This is only available over certain date ranges. Lovely on those winter / snow trip nights with a heater to keep you warm. Your surf / snow gear can also be strapped onto the side of the camper to the specialty racks, and Discover Max even comes with a drying rack fitted to the side. In Discover Max, the camper has been fitted permanently on top of an Isuzu Ute. You enter at the back into a lovely kitchen and seating area, with the roomy permanent bed in front of you, over the cab of the ute. Note, there is a permanent step at the back for access that can't be seen in the photos. KITCHEN: Lovely kitchen with storage and all the amenities you need. This includes a pull out 22 Litre fridge that runs off the solar panel (this can be run as either a fridge or freezer). - 1 x burner stove - Hand pump tap (25 litre fresh water tank, and 25 litre grey water tank) - Coffee plunger - Plates, bowls, cups, cutlery, cooking utensils - Pot, pan, kettle, chopping board - Camping chairs HEATING: There is a diesel heater in the camper, so Discover Max works brilliantly for winter adventures (the heater is off during summer). SEATING: Comfy permanent L shape seating in the camper. 5 x seatbelt seats in the ute cab, so if you're popping down to the beach from the campground you can bring some friends along. Or if you're staying in campgrounds (not freedom camping), then bring along a tent and your kids can stay in there while you have the camper bed. Note: we have slept in the camper bed with our little one fitting easily in there with us. Message us if you have any questions about that. SLEEPING: 135 by 195cm bed. High density foam. EXTRAS: Side racks for your surfboards etc. USB Charger x 2 runs off the solar panel, as does the interior light. SURFBOARDS AVAILABLE: Mini Mal: 7'6 mid length - really fun and versatile board for beginners to advanced surfers Fish: 5'10 - great for the more experienced surfer NOTE: these are also offered with another van we rent out, so it’s ‘first in first served’. Please double check the one you want is available for your hire! These are available for $8 each a day in 'Optional Extras'. I also have a lovely 9ft longboard I would consider hiring out, but would likely charge a bit more for that. Ask me about it when you message! LINEN: Provided: 2 x pillows, pillow cases, sheets, 1 x blanket. SELF CONTAINMENT: Self contained for two, so you can freedom camp where it is legal. Fixed toilet included, as per regulations. Toilet must be emptied and cleaned before van is returned. NOTE: any fines etc incurred for any freedom camping infringement will be the responsibility of the hirer. ROAD USER CHARGES In New Zealand diesel vehicles have Road User Charges (RUC’s) that have to be paid. Camplify manages this by calculating and charging this to the hirer during the post hire checklist at a rate of .09c per km. There is a $20 administration fee for parking tickets. Infringements get sent to Camplify and they communicate with the hirer about set LOCATION: Pick up is in Wainui, Auckland. An Uber from the airport takes about 42 minutes (excluding peak traffic times). We can also meet you at the Silverdale (Hibiscus Coast) Bus depot for an extra charge of $40 (see this listed in Optional Extras as 'RV Delivery and Setup under 100ks).
