We really enjoyed our holiday with the van, it has everything you need including a permanent bed. It does require a bit of a self invented system due to the minimal storage space, but the backseat definitely has enough space.

The car fully met our expectations. It is fully equipped and what was missing we bought. We spent almost a month in it, so if someone is looking for a car for a long trip, borrowing it from Grace is a good and proven option.

We were in NZ exploring both the North and South Island for a month and the D-Max made our trip so much more comfortable and enjoyable! The D-Max has plenty of space for storing your personal items (we had multiple fishing rods, blow up paddle board and two bags of clothes and had plenty of room between the camper and cab to store it all) the kitchen is great and everything you might need is supplied, and the cherry on top is how comfy the bed is! I couldnt recommend the D-Max or hiring with Grace and Johan more. Their communication was fantastic the whole trip, from responding super quickly to a last minute booking request, to helping with any questions along the way. Thank you so much for our little home the past month!

We had it for 3 weeks and was all we needed. Great camper and can easily park everywhere! Bed was way bigger than it is actually looking at the pictures. Reccomened !

We absolutely loved renting from Grace. Her communication was very clear, and she was always quick to reply to messages. I definitely recommend this van for touring around NZ. I rented a surfboard from Grace as well, and I thoroughly enjoyed surfing spots on the east and west shores of the North Island. We also loved that the bed in the van extended in length, as my partner and I are over 6 feet tall. We highly recommend this van rental!

I had a wonderful time in this van! Grace was so kind and very easy to connect with if any troubles arose. I am a solo female traveller and this was my first time renting a camper van alone. Grace made the experience so smooth and the van was perfect for my solo surf adventure!

We had such a wonderful time with Discover Max. Graces communication throughout the process was great. We didnt have any issues, any questions we had were answered promptly and the van gave us the flexibility we needed for 2 months of travel throughout both islands. The bed is big and super comfy, very spacious and good standing room, the van itself handles well driving. Its well stocked with everything we needed for our trip, chairs, table, pans, portable hob etc. Overall a great experience and wouldnt hesitate to rent this van again through Grace :)

I spent 3 weeks with this lovely van and had a great time! The van has all basic needs for your travel and is exactly as described. Grace is very helpful and kind, and answers fast when I texted her. I needed to handover the car quite early due to my flight schedule and that was not a problem at all. I hadnt had any issues with the van and it brought me safely through the North and South Island of NZ. The only thing I would recommend is bringing your own sleeping bag. I got a cold at nights (I travelled in November) and the linen provided was too thin for me. The solar panel provides the fridge with energy so I always had cool drinks and food which was awesome. There is no opportunity for charging a laptop through a power outlet in case you need it, but there are USB plugs for charging cameras/mobile phones.
