Manual Transmission. Solar panel runs fridge and lights only. Hot water from a heat transfer system. Gas cooker. There is a plug-in inverter for limited AC power. Linen including towels is included. NOTE this van is not suitable for off-road travel We can meet you at Hamilton Airport or Bus Depot, or if you want to pick up from our home in rural Waikato, you can leave your car with us. We will give you a good handover with a manual/folder Maximum 200 kms per day - $0.20c per km extra daily kms.

  You couldnt ask for better owners than Paul and Gill, and you couldnt ask for a better home away from home than cozy George. The van itself has everything you need and more for any adventure you can throw at it It has character in the best way possible. Surprisingly fuel efficient for how massive it is, about 10-11L/100km. Lots of useful storage space, well thought-out cooking setup, shower is great. Paul and Gill are thoughtful and caring, with a real lets make it work attitude and a true willingness to help. I look forward to booking again next time Im in NZ!

  Paul and his wife are lovely and very trustworthy hosts. We can truly recommend this van to anyone. For the price, we honestly havent found anything comparable in New Zealand. The van has everything you need from a bathroom to heating. The absolute highlight is that the shower can be routed outside. We loved taking warm showers outside in front of the van. Paul and Gill really take great care of the van. They provided us with everything we needed and more, and they were always easy to reach. Overall, it was a great experience. Even when we had some issues, they were there for us immediately. Another big highlight was the bed. Its not just the standard campervan mattress theres a really good topper on top, which makes the bed super comfortable. For us, this was perfect because we never convert the bed anyway. If youre someone who prefers to regularly convert the bed, this might be something to consider, and wed recommend mentioning it before renting if youd like a different setup. That said, weve rarely slept this well in a camper. The van does have a few small quirks, as its definitely older. Were confident that Paul keeps it well maintained and will also take care of the feedback we shared. The fridge doesnt seal perfectly, which caused some icing and was a bit inconvenient at times. Were very grateful for this positive experience and can only recommend that you enjoy and feel at home in this van.

  Could not ask for a better experience. Paul and Gill were amazing, the van albeit an older model was fantastic. Everything I could possibly need plus more. Plenty of room for me to put my foiling gear and Pauls little extra shade materials came in handy for some great Vanlife experiences. Loved everything about it. Many thanks Paul and Gill for such a positive experience.

  Cozy George gave us the most magical holiday across the North Island. George was a dream to drive and offered six days of pure comfort.
