Additional information

- For any after hour pick ups (6pm - 6am) an additional fee of $50.00 will apply. This will be payable at the time of delivery. - Road User Charges (RUC) at a cost of 9 cents per km travelled. This will be payable at the time of drop off.. - Self Containment Certificate expires on 06/06/2025

Hiring rules

• 1. Can do airport pick ups if required (at a cost of $29.00) 2. One way hires available on request (based on $1.00 per km plus return ferry crossing if going to the North Island) and must be requested at time of booking 3. Pets allowed (will have to provide own sheets and blankets) 4. 300km per day included, $1.00/km after that 5. Treat it as if it was your own 6. Tolls and parking are your responsibility & if not paid will be forwarded on to you 7. Return the camper van with a full tank of Diesel, toilet emptied and cleaned (if used) and in a clean & tidy condition 8. No OffRoad travel allowed 9. Road User Charges (RUC) at 9 cents per km travelled

  We travelled the length and breadth of the South Island ( close to 3000km) and the van was a dream to drive. The Mighty Merc was comfortable and reliable in every condition we put it through. The heating was amazing. We would happily hire the Mighty Merc again as dealing with Darren was easy and informative. Thank you Darren for helping make our 4 week holiday a dream come true for us.

  We had an absolute wonderful time touring the South Island with the Mighty Merc. Darren provided us with so much information up front already and everything we needed was handy in the van. Also during minor hick ups Darren was so helpful and supportive. 10/10 recommend, would definitely book again!

  The Mighty Merc did not let us down. Everything worked and we had a great time with zero hiccups. The van had everything we needed. Easy to drive, good fuel consumption. Darren also suggested some great hikes to do and had loads of information on the South Island.
