Hiring rules

• *EMERGENCY
• If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately.
• In case of an accident: get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 03 668 1211, then select option 4.
• *DAMAGE
• Any damage must be reported immediately. You will need to provide: who, what, where, and when.
• *RESTRICTIONS
• No offroad driving
• No beach driving
• No extended gravel roads
• No smoking inside
• No pets
• Unsealed roads must be preapproved in writing via Camplify Messages before your trip begins.
• Please review the Camplify exclusions, terms, and conditions before hire.
• *LONG TRIPS
• Hirers may travel up to 200 km per day, averaged over the hire period.
• Example: 5 days hire = 5 × 200 km = 1000 km included
• Additional kilometres are charged at $0.50 per km and deducted after hire.
• *FUEL
• Return the van full of petrol.
• All hires include a full tank at departure.
• *CLEANING
• If you don’t choose “clean the van for me”, please:
• Inside: clean fridge, vacuum mattress, floor, seats, windows, cutlery, pots, and pans. Wash the bedding at the laundry in Ranui (10 min from dropoff).
• Outside: remove bugs and insects from the front, clean mud, dust, and windows.
• No cooking in the living/bed area.
• *TRANSFERS & FERRIES
• If you need an airport transfer after dropoff, let us know in advance. Cost: $120.00

  Overall, it was a mixed experience. Positives: Lukas was incredibly responsive and quickly answered any questions I had, which was helpful throughout the process. The van drove nicely, with no faults, and the bed was comfortable. For the price, it was good value compared to other vans I looked into. Negatives: Unfortunately, the interior of the van was mouldy, as were the chopping board and one of the chairs. We only found out Lukas was already aware of this when we mentioned it at the end of our trip. Spending three weeks inhaling mould wasnt ideal, especially since my partner has asthma. The stove was terriblebarely functional and eventually caught fire (!!). Lukas did reimburse most of the cost when we had to buy a replacement, which was appreciated. The pots and pans provided were not good, so Id recommend bringing your own if you can The sink was too high for me (Im 56) to use comfortably for washing up. The fridge was really just a cool box without any ice packs supplied Storage space was very limited, especially for a three-week trip. The radio didnt work, although Lukas provided a portable speaker. The door didnt lock properly for the first week, and after that we could only open it from inside the van, which was a hassle. Overall, this campervan was cheap and cheerfulyou get what you pay for. It works and it is affordable, the issues made it slightly frustrating for our trip but by no means ruined it

  The van was not what we expected. My partner and I hired this van with the extra inclusion of airport delivery. Other hirers have gone through the handover checklist with us however Lukas did not show us everything in the checklist as the fridge would have been in this checklist. The blanket provided appeared to have no cover and felt unhygienic. It was extremely difficult to organise pick up with Lukas who originally stated we would have to meet with him or he could pick us up and drive one hour backwards for the van handover. Eventually he was able to handover at the airport but as it was in the airport we had to pay extra for airport parking fee. Lukas showed us the van, one door was not working. Lukas showed us the fairy lights, however the battery was flat and were not working nor did we have new batteries. the radio was not working which was not disclosed, Lukas only stated he had a speaker, not that the radio was not working. Lukas was not at all transparent about the fridge included, which is what is listed & the reason why we hired his van. When this was brought up with him he appeared to question that there was no fridge, when we showed him that his listing had a fridge he then disclosed it had broken down a week ago & we would have to purchase one & be reimbursed which was a hassle. On The second day, the van broke down and it was extremely difficult to contact Lukas, sometimes taking a day to respond. We had to be towed and were stuck for a few days whilst awaiting an alternate campervan which we had to organise. When we informed Lukas of this issue he then stated this issue had happened a month ago and he had resolved it. Theres only one USB plug to charge speaker as radio is not working, water pump was battery operated and worked for 2 seconds before needing to be charged on single USB socket. Plus we needed to charge two phones, power bank, and camera on a single socket without second battery in the car so it is only charging when the car is running. The only storage is behind the seat for large luggage however the toilet is fixed in the middle and taking all the available space. For the price we paid for this campervan we were expecting a better service.
