Hiring rules

  • 5 day minimum hire
  • Pick up your van from Christchurch
  • Pets are not allowed
  • Off road is not allowed
  • Return with a filled tank. All hires include a full tank upon departure.
  • No smoking, vaping or cooking inside the van.
  • Bring him back in the same condition. If an accident happens, tell me.
  • If used, please empty and clean the toilet before returning.
  • No oneway hires, sorry I don't have facilities for relocation.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    We had the most incredible trip around the South Island with this compact but mighty little van! When we got there, Eric very kindly picked us up from the airport and we were happy to note that the van was clean and organized, exactly as pictured. It was also fueled, stocked up and ready to go! Eric gave us the rundown of the van and rules of the road. He was quick to respond when we had a question. Eric thought of everything and we had no issues. The compact size made it easy to navigate narrow country roads. Also, the projector was a nice touch. Overall, we were very happy and would rent from Eric again!

    Basecamp was perfect for our 2.5 week trip around the South Island. Very clean & new, comfy bed, really easy to drive, has all the camping equipment we needed, great battery and we also loved the projector! Eric was super helpful and kind! We 100% recommend the van! Thank you Eric
