Eric was really helpful with prompt responses. Excellent little van, perfect for me for 2 weeks around the South Island. Good fuel economy, excellent drive on winding roads as well as motorways with an easy gearbox for engine braking on steep sections. Good audio and satnav setup for iPhone or Android. I have my own air mattress but found the van comfortable. For two people, you would need to be close and familiar. Theres a simple and efficient set-up for the camping stove and I had enough space for my large bag and to unpack a few days clothes at a time as well as store food securely whilst driving. The mini-fridge has adjustable temperature control and is powerful enough to freeze things and I could stock at least a couple days food and keep small bottles or cans cold whilst driving. Excellent electrical setup - I plugged in all I wanted and never got close to even starting to drain the leisure battery. I would highly recommend Eric and his van!

As a first-time campervan renter, this experience met our expectations. The campervan was reliable throughout the entire trip, handling long drives with ease and giving us full confidence on the road. It was comfortable and thoughtfully set up. Things we basically need were already provided which gave us convenience while on the road. The layout was practical and all other essentials were easy to use even for beginners like us. It made the whole journey stress-free. The campervan was clean and looked after with care. We appreciate the effort into making sure everything works smoothly. Eric was also great to deal with. He was friendly, easy to communicate with, and the airport pick-up and drop-off made everything even more convenient. The battery is working great we can charge our electronics at night perfectly. Recommended and would definitely book again.

We had the most incredible trip around the South Island with this compact but mighty little van! When we got there, Eric very kindly picked us up from the airport and we were happy to note that the van was clean and organized, exactly as pictured. It was also fueled, stocked up and ready to go! Eric gave us the rundown of the van and rules of the road. He was quick to respond when we had a question. Eric thought of everything and we had no issues. The compact size made it easy to navigate narrow country roads. Also, the projector was a nice touch. Overall, we were very happy and would rent from Eric again!

Basecamp was perfect for our 2.5 week trip around the South Island. Very clean & new, comfy bed, really easy to drive, has all the camping equipment we needed, great battery and we also loved the projector! Eric was super helpful and kind! We 100% recommend the van! Thank you Eric
