A quaint and somewhat rustic 1970s, 4 or 6-berth - we can make camping easy for you, DELIVERING (no towing by customer) to your local place of choice NEAR TAURANGA (within 50km - from Waihi to Matata), with solar, linen, cooker, basic pantry and bunks - ready to start enjoying your holiday immediately! For some of the many possible local Tauranga Moana / harbour camping locations see 'extra information'. With optional fold-out bunks for the kids, a kitchen, tap, gas stove, gas (or mains-power) fridge, solar lights and phone charger, this basic 1970s caravan suits use as the extra bedroom for family visits, or to accommodate your family in the stunning outdoors. We've enjoyed dozens of nights as a family camping in this caravan with our kids - and painted her to match her name - Sun, Sand and Surf (Blue, golden and turquoise). She ain't big and the double bed is squeezy, but she does fit 6. This is 1970s style caravanning! SPECIAL DECEMBER NOTE: We cannot deliver Tuesday 23rd to Sunday 27th 2025 (Christmas) - For this reason, any bookings starting during this period must be able to be dropped to you at your camping location before Tuesday 23rd December (or early that morning). Please enquire for details.

Hiring rules

CLEANING Return the van in clean condition. Excessive cleaning will incur a charge.
DAMAGE If damage happens, you must report it immediately who, what, where and when will be required please.
USE OF CARAVAN RULES
No smoking or vaping inside the caravan
For Pets, please use coverings to prevent the need for extra cleaning.

Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Pricing

Hire Fee: From $80.00 per day
Service fee: $25.00
Delivery fee: $1.00 per km

Cancellations

Flexible

Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
