A Few Things to Know Before You Hit the Road 🚐 This motorhome is designed to make your journey easy, comfortable, and totally self-sufficient — whether you're at a powered site or enjoying life off-grid. Here are a few useful details to help you plan: 💰 Road User Charges (RUC) & Mileage As this is a diesel vehicle, Road User Charges (RUC) apply: A 9 cent/km charge applies for every kilometre driven This can be paid in cash at the end of your trip There’s also a daily 150km travel allowance included. If you go beyond that: Additional kms are charged at 20 cents/km This is also payable in cash at handover No hidden costs — just a heads up so you’re aware! 🚲 Outdoor & Entertainment Extras We’ve included a few extras to make your trip more enjoyable: 2-bike rack on the back, suitable for e-bikes Multiple charging points for e-bike batteries 2 king-size camp chairs to relax at your site A large pull-out awning (extends 3m) for shade and comfort 🛠️ Appliances & Power This van runs a high-end solar + battery system that can handle most small appliances (under 1000W) with ease — even when you're off-grid. Here’s what’s included: Milk Frother Toaster Everything is powered sustainably by the van’s onboard system — no need to worry about finding power! 🧳 Storage & Essentials The van is well stocked for day-to-day living, and there’s still plenty of room for your own things: Three large empty cupboards Half-height wardrobe just for your gear You’re welcome to use anything you find in the van — just a small favour: If you use something up (or most of it), please replace it so it’s ready for the next guest. 😊 🔥 Safety & LPG LPG is complimentary and powers the heating, cooking, and hot water For your peace of mind, the van is equipped with: CO detector Smoke detector New fire extinguisher ✅ Certified to the New SCNZ Green Standard From 7 December 2024, all rental vehicles must meet the updated Green Self-Containment Standard (SCNZ) for freedom camping. Hiring rules

• 📝 Hiring Guidelines – Keeping Things Simple & Easy
• To help keep the van in top condition for everyone, we ask that you please follow these few simple rules during your hire:
• 🚭 No Smoking, Sorry!
• Please no smoking in or around the van.
• 🐾 No Pets
• As much as we love furry friends, this van is petfree to keep it allergyfriendly for all guests.
• 🚐 No OffRoading
• The van is rearwheel drive, so it’s best suited to sealed roads and wellmaintained gravel — no offroading, please.
• 🧼 Returning the Van
• We kindly ask that the van is returned in the same clean and tidy condition it was in at pickup. Here's a quick checklist to help:
• ✅ Interior cleaned to match how it was received
• ✅ Linen placed in the laundry area
• ✅ Rubbish removed and bin emptied
• ✅ Fuel tank refilled to the same level as pickup (photo provided)
• ✅ Fridge emptied and wiped clean
• ✅ All items back in their original storage spots
• ✅ Any food used from the pantry replaced
• ✅ Toilet cleaned, emptied, and disinfected
• ✅ Carpets vacuumed
• This helps us get the van ready for the next adventure and keeps things fair for everyone 😊

  Kevin handed over a great van to us and the explanations were very thorough which allowed us to have a great trip with this great van. The van is very reliable and the large windows at the back allowed the passengers to enjoy the amazing views of New Zealand. I would recommend Kevins van for anyone who wants to have an amazing trip in NZ.

  Fabulous, would love to do it again sometime. We went down the west coast and it rained but no problem in the camper with plenty of space for the 3 of us, hooks for the jackets and no concerns about power. 12yo worked the lights, toaster was appreciated, plenty of fridge space, easy to drive and manoeuvre (i thought it might be unwieldy). Bike rack easy to use too. Nice to have a bit of flexibility with pick up and drop off. Owner very friendly, helpful and responsive to texts and messages through Camplify.

  Our trip was amazing, 2 weeks around the South Island without a hitch and fabulous weather to boot. Kevin's motorhome was presented immaculately clean with a built in unlimited data wifi. the bed is very comfortable and the hot water excellent. Lots of storage and comfy outdoor chairs too which we were able to use regularly due to the best weather. however, the awning would have taken care of any dew or drizzle. the solar set up is massive. no problem with 240 volt appliances off grid. the house battery gets charged by the motor and then maintains full charge with the abundant solar panels. Off grid is easy and we spent many days doing this. the only requirement is fresh water and grey emptying. it drives beautifully with plenty of power and good gearbox. Kevin loves his motorhome and loves it when other people appreciate it too. He went way beyond going the extra mile for us when we left some items in the motorhome. you will not be disappointed doing business with Kevin and driving around in Dreamtime. Toni and Darrin

  Campify review What we liked about Kevins Campervan was the addition of many useful items such as a comprehensive range of kitchen equipment, blue tooth speaker, cooling fan, an assortment of handy tools and cleaning equipment plus the very comfortable mattresses. The camper has effective heating, an excellent hot water system, and the installed Wi-Fi is great to have. The electrical system is first rate, we had plenty of ac power available plus there are numerous usb charging points. One reviewer commented on finding some of the owners stuff in the cupboards but we didnt find that a problem. There is a massive amount amount of storage space and Kevin seems happy that we could use any of his stuff which meant we didnt have to go and buy the odd thing that we forgot to bring with us on the trip. We found the Campervan to be surprisingly economical on fuel and a pleasure to drive

  We had a great week in this Van. Kevin had obviously taken a lot of time to prepare clear instructions for operating everything in his Van. It was very helpful because even though he went through every detail with us it's easy to forget something. I read a review stating things were broken and wouldn't rehire this Van, well, we never found anything broken and would definitely rehire if needed to. We thought Kevin had done a great job in supplying everything needed plus extras. Iko has added her refreshing extras as well. We were very happy with the Wifi and Solor Power. As we have already said, we would rehire this Van.
