OTHER AMENITIES: Amelie comes with an outdoor table, and two chairs. She has a 1500w inverter to charge your laptop or 240v device. The 12v fridge is like a chest freezer so is very efficient and can be set at what temperature you like to -20 degrees. Good for keeping your meats and beer cold. Charge your phone off the built in usb charger on the switch panel. The electric water pump gives you running water to the large full size sink. EVERY VEHICLE MUST BE RETURNED BY 12PM ON THE RETURN DATE. Unless otherwise discussed and agreed upon at the time of booking, a late fee will apply. Returns exceeding 5 hours late will incur a full-day hire charge, while delays under 5 hours will be charged at a half-day hire rate. Please help keep Amelie fit and healthy checking the oil and water regularly is a must and mileage needs to be kept to max 200km per day. Hiring rules

• 1. No smoking, vaping, or illegal drugs in or near the vehicle at any time.
• 2. Pets may be considered — please message to discuss and we can explore an arrangement.
• 3. The hirer/driver must be 25 years or older, unless otherwise discussed in advance and covered under the insurance premium we provide.
• 4. No unsealed roads. The vehicle must remain on sealed roads only.
• 5. Hirers are welcome to travel up to 200 km per day, averaged over the total hire period.
• Example: 4day hire × 200 km = 800 km included in the rate.
• 6. Additional kilometres are charged at $0.50 per km and will be deducted at the completion of the hire.
• 7. The vehicle must be returned in the same clean condition as at handover. Please ensure:
• All rubbish is removed, Fridge is emptied, Dishes are washed, dried, and put away. The portable toilet is emptied and cleaned. Failure to return the vehicle clean will incur an excess cleaning fee of $150.00.
• 8. Return the vehicle with the fuel tank full – all hires include a full tank upon departure.
• 9. Return with the wastewater tank empty.
• 10. You do not need to worry about refilling the fresh water tank.
• 11. Pickup and dropoff are generally at similar times at 12pm (noon); however, we can be flexible with prior arrangement.

  Both Tom and Lance are nice lads. Amalie was a cool car to cruise around in, got a lot of nice comments from people around NZ. Not too thirsty either. AC stopped working while we were on the road but the guys offered us compensation. Negative about my experience is that she was dirty when we got her and that several things could have been built better. But the guys listened to our feedback and will hopefully fix these things. All in all we were satisfied.
