Fordy has: pots and pans, kettle with cups and cutlery, dish cloths and cleaning equipment. Cooking basics, salt, pepper, oil. Tea, coffee and sugar are provided for the first day. Yes you will have bed linen.

Hiring rules

• Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.
• It is a smoke free vehicle.
• Awning must be packed away before bad weather arises.
• South Island only, no ferry, no North Island.
• On return:
• Please empty and clean toilet.
• Empty grey waste and bins.
• Vehicle must be returned cleaned.
• Return with full tank of diesel.
• LPG bottle needs to be full.
• $0.09/km road user charge(RUC) will be requested to be paid on return for total km travelled.
• Driven on sealed/bitumen or wellmaintained roads.
• Small pets considered before approval only.

  We spent two weeks with Fordy during early spring. Being warm (even in minus temperature), very well equipped and coming with ample storage space and a comfortable bed, we had a wonderful time with this van. It was easy to drive and maneuver and the solar panels and gigantic water tanks give you the possibility to spend time on unpowered sites or even freedom camp. Davide explained everything very carefully to us and provided excellent and quick support during our trip. We would rent Fordy again in a heartbeat.

  We traveled nearly 3000 kilometres in this van and found it very reliable and good to drive. . The heating was great overnight and made it comfortable even when very cold outside. The van was compact and equipped with everything we needed to be self sufficient. .

  its a good van with all things you need for travelling the engine worked properly and the motor has enough power to take every mountain also it seemed not to use to much diesel during the time I used it - everything well

  What a fabulous holiday in a fabulous campervan. Fordy had everything we needed to make our first camping adventure. Comfy bed, amazing hot water service for showers, all the kitchen utensils. Davide, our host was great to deal with, and very happy to available if we needed during our trip. Pick and Drop off were smooth and easy. THANK YOU - Davide and his Fordy were amazing

  You can tell that Davide takes great pride in Fordy. It is fitted out with everything you need. We had a fabulous three week trip around the South Island in Fordy.
