You will love our gorgeous home away from home with large beds, two tv's, electric and diesel heating and lots of room. Everything is provided for you to enjoy getting away - from outdoor tables and chairs to cosy beds. The king size bed at the rear doubles as a large living area during the day - plenty of room to relax and read a book or play cards with friends. The motorhome is self contained with a cassette toilet, shower and plenty of water, both hot and cold. It is fully automatic and easy to drive with a reversing camera to making backing easy.

Hiring rules

  • Motorhome must be returned clean or risk being charged a cleaning fee
  • The motorhome will have a fuel tank of diesel on pickup and must be returned with a full tank
  • Road user charges (RUC) will be charged for the distance driven at the current NZ transport Agency rate. This is currently 9 cents per kilometer. ($9.00 per 100 km) Road user charges may change when the NZ Transport Agency changes the rate per km. (this rate will not change after the rental starts)
  • No smoking inside
  • No offroad
  • No pets
  • Awning must be packed away before bad weather arises
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    This is our third year hiring The Wanderer, and it never lets us down. There is plenty of room inside with bedding, towels and linen to see us through our holiday. It drives well and is easy to park. Helen and Neville are great to deal with, and they have now become an important part of our annual holiday. Highly recommended. Will hire again.
