We are a family of four who have made a lot of new memories in our Camper van since buying her in October 2023 Anna, My Wife always wanted her own camper van after having very happy memories from yearly campervan trips around the South Island as a child, We feel sad when our Merc. is sitting in our driveway not being used knowing a family or a couple could be enjoying the lovely New Zealaland weather and be out exploring New Zealand making memories of their own with her, The Cab has air conditioning and is spacious when traveling, super easy to drive and parking is a breeze with the reversing camera. Once you arrive at your destination you just park up and pull out the awning and you are set up and ready to relax our explore your new surroundings. Freedom camping is an always an option as we have solar and gas, AND with the bike rack on the back you can bring your bikes along on your awesome adventure too. We have a massive bed above the cab that easily fits three kids the ladder slides into place to ensure no one can fall out. we've had our 14 year old twin Nieces sleep comfortably up there with our ten year old daughter. At the rear of the camper the booth that comfortable seats six can also be converted into a queen bed, -we usually leave the middle seating area set up (as we only need two beds) but you can easily drop down the table at the entrance and this becomes a double bed We removed the microwave and can supply you with an air fryer in its place and we also have available a BBQ with gas bottle for you to cook on. The kitchen comes with a fridge (and very small freezer) cooking utensils, cutlery & plates and we can supply you with Camping chairs and table for eating outside Our Memory Making Merc also comes with a built in Shower and toilet, Satellite T.V, built in sound system and has Diesel Heating throughout, book your next holiday with our Memory Maker today and go off and make some Fabulous life long memories of your own!

Hiring rules

  • Driver must have full Licence.
  • Road User Charges to apply at NZD $0.09/km
  • No smoking or vaping in the van or under the awing of the van.
  • No off road/unsealed road driving
  • Van will be hired with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank of fuel.
  • Van must be returned clean
  • toilet and grey water cassettes must be empty and clean.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    The campervan was absolutely perfect for our family of 5. It had all the linen, towels, ammenities and camping equipment you could possibly need plus a lot of lovely little touches. There was plenty of space and it was easy to drive. Matt was so approachable, friendly and very helpful each time I rang with a question! We couldnt have asked for an easier and more comfortable campervan hireage. A holiday thatll be remembered forever. Thank you!

    Fantastic holiday in Memory Making Merc! We had the best 10 days in Golden Bay. The van kept us dry, warm and comfortable despite some rough weather. We had two adults, a toddler and 11 month old baby and all slept comfortably with plenty of space. Nice new linen and towels and fully equipped with everything you would need, including beach and inside toys for the kids. They spent hours playing with these, particularly the beach trolley. The van was immaculate, easy to use and good to drive. Just what we needed for first time campervanners. Matt and Anna were awesome owners. They went out of their way with drop off and collection (including early airport transfers). Excellent communication and pleasure to deal with. Would definitely hire again and recommend to anyone.

I am a Self employed Gib stopper / Painter I'm married to my lovely wife Anna and, thanks to IVF, we have two gorgeous kids together. I work hard to buy nice things which I look after. I am mechanically minded and a bit of a handy man so you can call me at anytime if you have any issues with the Van.
