Hiring rules

• No smoking in the van
• No festivals without prior approval
• No subhire
• No offroad / No driving on the beach / No extended Gravel Roads or Unsealed roads
• Road User Charges apply at (9c per KM)
• Kilometre Limit to 200km/day and $0.30c per KM after this
• Cooking is with Gas and you will have enough supply
• Standard Camplify rules:
• Cleaning Van must be returned in the same condition as departure. This includes floors swept, surfaces wiped down, food and rubbish removed, incl. grey water tank empty. Failure to return van clean will result in excess cleaning fee of up to $199.00.
• Damage of items belonging to the van need to be paid for.
• Damage to the vehicle If damage happens, you must report it immediately who, what, where and when will be required.
• Unsealed roads must be preapproved in writing in Camplify.
• Fuel Return full of DIESEL All hires include a full tank upon departure.
• EMERGENCY If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 0800 779 779.

• Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

  The van was organized, spacious and cozy. And with a good amount of power outlets, solar panel and a fridge, it made the living and traveling in the van very smooth and easy. When visiting NZ again, I'll definitely go exploring in the same van. Had an awesome time thanks to the awesome owners, thanks for for making the trip possible!

  Kevin and Arlette's van is fantastic. The van had everything I needed to make my New Zealand holiday easy - a rooftop solar power set-up ran the chilly bin/esky/ice box, and a comfortable bed with plenty of linen/quilts to keep me warm at night, which I appreciated. The kitchen set-up worked a treat - water supply and pump to the sink, with two butane cookers, pots and pans, cups, mugs, plates, knives, forks, spoons and the all-important coffee maker. The van came with two magnetic external stick-on fly screens which meant plenty of ventilation during the night, which was a must. I chose Kevin and Arlette's van because of the photo in the profile with the roof ladder and the bedding on top of the van's roof, although I didn't get a chance to check out this cool feature. There was plenty of room under the bed for all of my stuff and I appreciated Kevin and Arlette including a sun umbrella and an extra container to store all of my belongings. Kevin and Arlette went out of their way to answer all my questions and they offered to send info on places of interest from the itinerary I shared with them, which was very kind and above and beyond. I highly recommend Kevin and Arlette's van. I had a blast. You will need to be able to drive a manual vehicle. You can't just pick that skill up in an afternoon. ;) The van went well and the Turbo engine was fantastic if needed. I plan to return to NZ and hopefully hire this van again.
