Meet Vanelope. Your Perfect Road Trip Host! Vanelope is an automatic campervan designed for amazing New Zealand adventures. Imagine waking up to the sound of waves crashing on a remote beach or the crisp mountain air filling your lungs. As soon as you step foot in Vanelope, you will be 'wowed' by the vast space inside and the ability to stand up comfortably around the cabin. How to van life in Vanelope: - She is smooth to drive with an automatic gearbox and Apple car play to help with directions and keep those road trip bangers playing. - Parking and setting your camping spot will be easy. Vanelope is not too big and not too small. She's the perfect size. The sliding door entrance has a step where you can wipe your feet and a bath matt to keep the cabin clean from the outside muck! - Sleeping. Change Vanelope's set up from a sofa to a double-sized bed effortlessly in minutes. Just unfold the backrest, unscrew the wall screw opposite the sofa and fit into the designated space. Pop the support cushions in the middle, put a mattress topper and sheet over the cushions and voila! With tinted back windows you can have full privacy. Feel free to use the LED (fire safe) candles when it's time to set the mood! She will always come with a double-sized duvet and pillows. - Cooking time, while we wait to fit safe gas to the van please use the double portable cooker supplied. -Fridge, Vanelope has a large portable fridge onboard. We always recommend putting a bag of ice in when you first arrive before turning it on to reduce the amount of power it uses to cool it down to the desired setting. - Chilling time, Vanelope comes with two camping chairs to use outside or fold out the desk from the wall, get out the placemats and enjoy dinners, play cards or even some board games if it is a rainy day. - Power, Vanelope comes with a Portable Power Station. Boasting a robust 864Wh capacity and a 1,000W continuous power, it effortlessly energises your essential devices. To make the most of NZ sun, you can find a set of Solar Panels tucked behind the driving seats which can plug into and charge this station. But if you find yourself with some grey days, the station comes with a cigarette lighter charging cable or plug charger to keep the power flowing during your stay. - Storage, Vanelope comes with heaps of storage. Two overhead cupboards, compartments behind and beneath the sofa, nets behind the wall to fold and store clothes, and a small wardrobe to place bits and bobs. - Shower, would you believe it, Vanelope has a foldout shower onboard. Simply fold out the shower door, unhook the shower tray and fold this out toward you. Make sure the grey water hose is either directed directly outdoors through the circular vent at the bottom of the shower door, or direct it into the grey water tank making sure the valves are open. The shower operates via a pump system and two water containers so unless you fill them with warm water then it might be on the luke-warm side. Furthermore, make the most of public loo facilities if possible as no one enjoys the task of emptying the waste at a dump station! - Safety, Vanelope comes with a fire extinguisher, first aid kit and fire/C02 alarm should any emergency occur. - Please let me know if you have any questions in advance :) - Enjoy a taster of van life and I hope you have the trip of a lifetime! Hiring rules

BEDDING MUST be put on cushions when sleeping.
CLEANING Please return Vanelope cleaned using the cleaning products provided.
LINEN If your hire included linen, please be considerate and run these through a Laundromat before you return.
EMERGENCY If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 1300 416 133 they call someone to help. Then call us.
DAMAGE If any damage happens, please report it immediately We need to know who, what, where and when.
No OFFROAD / No UNSEALED roads and No BEACH adventures please.
LONG TRIPS Hirers are welcome to travel in Vanelope up to 150km's per day. (This will be averaged out over the duration of hire Example: 5 days hire 5 x 150km Allowance) After this limit is reached, extra km's are absolutely fine but they will be chargeable. Camplify will facilitate a charge of 60c per kilometre over the allocated allowance based on the start and end odometer readings and this will be paid for through your bond after the completion of the trip. Please be conscious that Vanelope is a diesel vehicle and therefore subject to road user charges, so it would be fair that $0.09 per kilometre driven is paid by you as a guest to help cover this. (Payable by Cash or Camplify Will deduct on completion of the hire.)
FUEL Please return Vanelope full of DIESEL All hires include a full tank upon departure.
SHOWER There is a shower onboard. Make sure the grey water is empty on return.
CLEANING AND RETURN Return Vanelope with all the onboard equipment and the Van as clean as when you received it.
POWER Please recharge the power station to 100% using solar or power plug included.
COOKING GAS refilled from petrol stations. If using the portable BBQ gas canisters please replenish the amount of cans that you use!
NO SMOKING is allowed inside.
No Festivals, Party's or Bush Doofs

Hire Fee: From $200.00 per day

Cancellations

Strict

Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

My partner and I used Vanelope for 19 nights, and we had such a great experience! The van was reliable, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our road trip. It was super easy to drive and well equipped for cooking, sleeping, and relaxing after a long day of exploring. Luke was also fantastic, he replied quickly to any questions we had and even offered us some great recommendations for our trip, which helped us make the most of our time on the road. Would definitely recommend Vanelope to anyone looking for a campervan!

Vanelope is INCREDIBLE!! Luke had thought of everything and showed us how it all worked. Communication was great. Such a modern luxury feel. We backed her up and opened up the back doors and had an uninterrupted ocean front view right from our bed. Easy to drive. Highly recommended!!!
