Hiring rules

• EMERGENCY If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Heidi's owners first, then if necessary call Camplify on 0800 779 779
• DAMAGE If damage happens, you must report it immediately who, what, where and when will be required. Take photos. If another vehicle is involved, get their contact details and Driver License number. Do not change tyres or other mechanical parts unless authorised by owners first.
• NO OFFROAD / NO Beach Driving / NO Extended Unsealed Roads 10km limit / NO Rivers, Streams, Creeks, River beds.
• UNSEALED roads must be preapproved in writing in Camplify Messages before the trip begins. Please be familiar with the exclusions, Terms and Conditions of the booking.
• 200km travel limit per day 50cents charged for each additional km travelled, (eg 5day hire x 200km = 1000km, additional costs when exceeding 1000kms).
• FUEL Return full of DIESEL fuel All hires include a full tank at the start of your journey
• RUC (‘Road User Charges’ is a government levy). During you hire, the hirer will be liable for the cost of RUC (NOT included in the rental charges). RUC will be charged at .09cents per kilometer and payable at the end of your hire.
• CLEANING – Bring Heidi back as you found her! Clean inside & out, all equipment & toilet and grey water tank, or an extra cleaning fee up to $270.00 will apply. Cleaning supplies provided.
• If you select our posttrip cleaning service you are still responsible for emptying & cleaning the Grey Water (sink water) container before returning, or an extra cleaning fee of $100.00 will apply.
• No Smoking or Vaping inside the Camper
• No festivals
• No pets or pets allowed only upon application
• No cooking inside the Camper
• Roll away the Awning in windy weather
• Hirer & all drivers must be 21 years of age or older
• No Charge for Bedding and towels (the owners provide free laundry service at end of hire for their bedding and towels)
• No Charge for Roads Tolls
• No Charge Gas Bottles – if empty during your hire refilled from petrol stations, and keep receipt and you will be reimbursed at end of your hire.

  We had an amazing time in NZ with Marie & Glenn's campervan! Highly recommended for mid-to-longer trips across both islands. Well-equipped Toyota with a powerful engine that will take you everywhere with zero problems. The cabin is surprisingly soundproof and the bed is comfortable. Marie and Glenn were super helpful, flexible and easy to communicate with during our trip and accommodated any request we had logistics-wise. Great value and great fun, would definitely rent Heidi again.

  Our three weeks in Heidi was amazing! From the onset, Marie was the most communicative person, always quick to response and even offering suggestions as we were planning our trip. She was clear and made sure we knew what to expect in terms of the van's amenities. The check out process was thorough with Marie and they also had a nice manual/reference binder should we have run into questions during our trip. Heidi was the perfect size for two people and easy to drive. She was reliable and had nice personal touches inside, with everything easily labeled and easy to find. The bed was easy to set up and the kitchen was well stocked. We'd happily have spent a few more weeks in Heidi. Thanks so much Marie and Glenn!
