Hiring rules

LOCATION: Pickup and dropoff at Auckland airport and around AKL CBD are possible depending on our work commitments, and may not always be available. We can discuss this during booking. Delivery cost per km will apply.
FUEL & WASTE: The vehicle should be returned with a full tank of diesel and an empty grey water tank. If the toilet is used, it must be emptied and cleaned.
ROAD USER CHARGES: 200km average per day is included in the rate. Anything over that will be charged posthire at rate of 20cents NZ per km.
DAMAGES: In the event of damage, it must be reported immediately, including details of who, what, where, and when. Photos are appreciated.
DRIVING: Offroad, beach driving, and extended gravel roads are not allowed, and smoking inside the vehicle is prohibited.
COOKING: When cooking inside the van, ensure the vent is open. Additionally, all cupboards, drawers, and the fridge must be closed and securely fastened while driving.
PETS: You're permitted to bring one pet along, but kindly ensure to clean up after your pet.
EXTRA CHARGES: Tolls and tickets will be your responsibility.

Pricing

Hire Fee: From $150.00 per day
Service fee: $80.00
Delivery fee: $1.00 per km

Cancellations

Strict

Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

We had a great time with Amber during our 7 week stay in New Zealand. All the gear you will need is included in the van. Definitely recommend.

We had the most incredible time away in amber the merc the bed is super comfortable & the van is cosy & warm, its amazing how spacious it feels inside & the owners have thought of everything you need for a trip away! Highly recommend & will absolutely be hiring for another trip!

The layout of the van is fantastic, and it was well equipped with just about everything we needed on our trip. The bed was very comfy, we slept great! We had a great road trip overall and when we come back to NZ I hope we can take Amber back out for a spin!

Really nice short weekend away. Van drives surprisingly great! Very well appointed, contemporary fit out, some nice touches from owners left for us and easy communication. A great van to bring a pet along. Would love to hire Amber again soon! Thanks so much
