Hiring rules

• Fuel: The campervan must be returned with a full tank of fuel.
• Tolls: While toll roads are few in New Zealand, you are responsible for paying any that you use. You can easily make payments online.
• Traffic Fines: We hope you don’t get any tickets, but if you do, please make sure to pay them promptly.
• Smoking is prohibited inside the campervan
• PostTrip Campervan Cleaning and Return Information
• We know that cleaning a campervan after a long trip is no one’s favorite task! If you’d rather leave it to us, we can handle the cleaning for you at an extra cost. But if you’re up for it, here are some key cleaning tips to help you out:
• General Cleanliness
• Interior Cleaning: Please return the campervan with a clean interior. This includes wiping down all surfaces, cleaning countertops, sweeping/vacuuming the floors, and making sure the space is free from dirt and debris.
• Exterior Cleaning: We’ll take care of washing the exterior for you. However, if the campervan is returned excessively dirty (mud, dust, etc.), an additional cleaning fee may apply.
• IMPORTANT: If you choose to wash the exterior yourself, please avoid using automatic car washes, as they can damage the solar panel.
• Kitchen Area
• Stove: The stove should be cleaned after use. Please wipe away any spills or food residue and ensure all utensils, pots, and pans are washed and returned to their proper places.
• Fridge: Be sure to empty and wipe down the fridge before returning the campervan.
• Toilet Cleaning: The toilet cassette must be emptied and cleaned prior to dropoff.

• Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

  Lilo is such a lovely van. So easy to drive. You can bring her lots of places bigger vans cant go but enough storage spaces that it never seemed too small or cluttered on the inside. Very easy to keep things organised and plenty of spaces to cook and prepare food. The solar panels and fridge were great!! Bernie was great with communication and has thought of everything to make the van very comfortable which meant it was really like having a home on wheels. There is literally nothing better than waking up on a beach in a comfortable bed with the sunrise visible from the back window. Thanks Oli campers for such an amazing trip.

  We can highly recommend Olicampers. Weve had the trip of a lifetime in the amazing Lilo. Over 32 days, we drove approximately 5,000 kilometers. She drove like a dream, and there was absolutely nothing to complain about. The van is incredibly well-designed, with great attention to detail, making van life very comfortable. From the moment we reserved the van, we received fantastic service. We got great recommendations for must-see places, quick answers to all sorts of questions, and we were picked up and dropped off at the bus station in Hamilton.   Hi, We had a wonderful time traveling around NZ in Lilo. It was the perfect way of travel for our trip. We went to both islands and everything worked great, when we had questions it was just to message Bernie and Reni with Oli Campers and they replied instantly! The van filled all our expectations and beyond. We loved all the smart solutions, the layout of the van and how good it looks. It was really easy for us to keep everything tidy and organised the whole month of renting thanks to all the storage space. We truly felt free being sustainable and also not having to rely on finding powered camp sites thanks to the solar panels and battery backups. We felt really sad leaving Lilo and leaving NZ, but we hope to make it back in the future and we will not hesitate to hire from Oli Campers again. We highly recommend Oli campers to everyone!
