Additional information

Carefull to not park on wet grass or down a steep gravel driway, it can get stuck, also not allow to drive it on the beach. Also be gentle on hills, Spirit will be slow, no need to try to go too fast as it can exhaust the engine. There a a few roads that are not allowed (For exemple: Crown ranges from Wanaka to Queenstown), please double check on Camplify

Hiring rules

• No smoking allowed inside
• No shoes inside
• Never use the outside cooker linked to the 2kg LPG bottle inside, it is only for outside cooking. There is also a small portable inside cooker that can be used inside but if it is used make sure to open a window, door and to not leave it unattended.
• EMERGENCY If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 0800 779 779
• DAMAGE If damage happens, you must report it immediately who, what, where and when will be required.
• NO OFFROAD / NO Beach Driving / NO Extended Gravel Roads/ NO Smoking inside
• Please be familiar with the exclusions, terms and conditions of the booking.
• LONG TRIPS Hirers are welcome to take the van up to 200 kilometres a day. This will be averaged out over the duration of hire Example: 5 days hire 5 x 200km Allowance: 1000km for hire permitted in the rate, additional kms will be charged at 30c per km and deducted on completion of the hire.
• FUEL Return full of PETROL 91 All hires include a full tank upon departure.
• CLEANING Clean the equipment and Van. Excessive cleaning will incur a charge.
• COOKING GAS Return FULL refilled from petrol stations.
• WATER TANK Return clean water tank full and waste tank empty
• TOILET Return empty and cleaned

• Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

  Spirit is a loyal companion. Despite its old age, it allowed me an amazing tour of the South Island. t is smqll enough to drive comfortably and big enough to live and sleep.

  We had an amazing time traveling around the South Island with this little cozy van! Elodie was just incredible. She knows amazing spots. We had a puncture and she helped us sort things out so quickly. I really recommend and for sure I will come again!

  We couldn't have asked for more. Elodie was excellent from start to finish. Her van was spotless when we picked it up and it had everything we needed. She has gone out of her way to make it extra comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and couldn't recommend Elodie and Spirit highly enough. If you are deciding between two go for this one you won't be disappointed :)
