Let Nora the Nissan take you on your New Zealand adventure! Easy to drive, and includes all you need for a comfortable trip. Kitted out with an easy to set up double bed (takes less than a minute to convert), sleeping bags and blankets included. Towels are also provided. The kitchen has a fridge (can also be used as a freezer), gas stove and all the cooking equipment you need, plus the essential crockery and picnic ware. There is a microwave, kettle and toaster that can be used when plugged into mains power. Outdoor seats and a table are provided. Bluetooth stereo fitted to driving area, so you can listen to your favourite sounds whilst on your adventure. Located just north of Christchurch, flexible meeting arrangements are available including pickup and drop off at Christchurch airport. As an owner/renter, I will always do my best to accommodate meeting you as your flight lands or departs, but will need to arrange times around work.

Hiring rules

  • Fuel (standard 91) return full (will be full at handover to you).
  • There are no other road user charges with this vehicle.
  • Unsealed roads are ok to drive on (just take it easy), but no off road/beach driving.
  • Your service charge includes cleaning (inside and out), please just remove rubbish and wash up dishes etc.
  • Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Nora the Nissan is a great van! Very comfortable and spacious for 2 people. Has the basic kitchen amenities that will ensure a great camping experience. Andrew provided everything required for a seamless holiday, so all we needed was food and drink. Nora is quite slow up hills but easy to drive. She drove us from Chrisrchurch to Milford Sound and back with no problems and through all weather conditions. Nora is not self contained, so cannot be used at any freedom camping spots. Booked campsites are required. I would definitely recommend Nora for anyone going on a solo van trip or a couple going on a roady.

    Amazing experience, Nora drove well, nice simple set up eand easy to use. All around great experience. Awesome communication and even dropped the van off at 11pm. Andy is a legend and highly recommended

    Nora the Nissan was the most perfect of travelling companions to explore the incredible South Island. Brilliantly laid out, clean, neat and super comfortable (unlike many other similar vans I saw at numerous parks). Super easy to drive as auto with a willing quiet engine and comfortable ride. Driving seat and position excellent. An effortless big 2,000 mile drive in 6 days all made possible via my trusty Nora. Andrew super helpful, drove out to meet me on the pick up day near the beach, and met me in town to collect. Great value and the trip of a lifetime. Would highly recommend for either a single or double hire! Thanks Nora and Andrew. Philippe
