OFF-GRID - * Easy to use 320W Solar Power Panels with a second battery. *Max air fan for those hot summer trips. it’s also great for removing steam during cooking. -Outdoor table and two chairs included. -Picnic blanket included. -Small table that can also be used indoors. *Pull out toilet built in to bench seat in kitchen, Easy to use at night when bed is made up. Our dog has enjoyed many adventures exploring in this van. LOCATION - Pick up in Christchurch 8023. Roughly 25 mins from the airport. We can drop off to you in Christchurch for an additional fee depending on where. please let us know if you would like this service and we can advise you of fee. Airport drop off $50. * we also have a Samsung projector and projector screen for movie nights on those rainy days on the road. An additional fee for this if you would like it. (fee dependent on booking duration).

Hiring rules

*No Smoking or Vaping inside.
* Must be returned with a full tank of petrol. If not an additional fee will apply
* Grey water tank must be empty when returned
* Airport drop may be possible if our work schedule allows. This service is additional $50.00. Ask us if you wish to add this service.
*Remember to pay any fines as these will be passed on to you.
* Gas to be returned full. If not an additional fee will apply
*Toilet must be returned empty and clean. If not an additional fee will apply of $80.00.
*No offroad driving / No beach driving.

Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Pricing

Hire Fee: From $190.00 per day
Service fee: $50.00

Cancellations

Strict

Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

We loved our 2 weeks in Fetch exploring the South Island. Tara and John were great hosts and all of the little touches that they have added to Fetch really make the van feel like home whilst on the road. Fully equipped, runs smoothly, easy to drive and really responsive hosts with efficient pick up and drop off! The fact she runs on solar makes freedom camping very easy too. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a van to explore NZ

We had the time of our life on the road! The van was perfect and John and Tara are super friendly and helped a lot before and during the trip! I would absolutely recommend Fetch to anyone!

We had the absolute best time in Fetch. Couldnt have asked for a more perfect camper to spend our time exploring the South Island. The communication was excellent. Fetch was very organised with everything needed and functional and super cosy too. Definitely booking fetch again in the future.

We lived out of Fetch for two weeks and enjoyed it a lot. The bed was more comfortable than any hotel bed! It was nice being able to easily convert it from a short bed with a lounge to a larger bed. We had pretty much everything we needed, including plenty of solar power. Don't hesitate to bring your favorite electrical appliance - Fetch can handle it! Not being able to stand up was okay because there's a table and we could cook outside in nice weather. However, doing dishes was a little tricky because of no hot water and the angle/size of the sink. Future users should also know that the grey water jug needs to be manually removed from under the sink and dumped, which takes some time and finesse. The van drives well and has plenty of room for two people and their gear, including storage for suitcases in the back. Finally, John and Tara were easy to communicate with and very understanding when we had questions and problems.

We absolutely LOVED our roadie with Fetch. We had everything we needed (linen, towels, comfy bed, table/chairs, basics for food, kitchen ware) and Fetch was a dream to drive and live in for 2 weeks. John and Tara were great giving us tips before we started our trip and easy to contact if needed during the trip, thank you! We wish we had had more time with Fetch and would 100% recommend to anyone looking to do a van tour around NZ!
