  My best friend and I had a wonderful time exploring the South Island in Robs van. It had everything we needed for the trip, and Rob was great to communicate with pickup and drop-off were easy and straightforward. The van is fully self-sufficient, and we never had any battery issues or needed to plug into power. We stayed at a mix of pre-booked campgrounds, DOC sites, and freedom camping spots, which worked perfectly for us. Rob also kindly offered to store our suitcases, which made things much easier. Storage in the van is mainly above and underneath the seating/bed area, so packing light is definitely a good idea! We were pleasantly surprised by how many towns had clean public toilets, and most campgrounds had well-equipped kitchens, where we ended up doing most of our cooking. The van drove really well, even on windy roads, and we always felt comfortable behind the wheel. The awning was perfect for relaxing outside, and we often made use of the chairs when stopping at beautiful spots to read or eat. Thank you, Rob! We had an amazing trip and would absolutely recommend your van!

  We had a great 3 week trip in Big Dubby which is a thoughtfully put together self-contained campervan with plenty of helpful features. We appreciated its flexibility - with pull out and inside work benches, inside electric induction cook top (which heats things very quickly) plus basic gas camping stove for outside. There is good storage space. One of us needed to power a Cpap machine overnight and the battery/inverter handled it well + charged our phones (with double USB port next to sleeping area). The reading lamp was great too. We didn't use the awning all the time but it was very useful on days of rain or in a campsite with full sun. The vehicle itself drives well. Rob the owner was very responsive and kindly checked our itinerary - giving good suggestions before we left.

  We has a wonderful holiday for 12 days with this van. Eventually we didn't do the free camping, but you could easily. Building the bed is an easy task. Diving goes smooth, the van has enough power to drive up all the hills.

  The van is brilliant, super comfortable bed and plenty of space inside. Loved the big fridge, and loads of storage for bags. The van is self contained, and means you get cheaper, and better located pitches on sites (closer to beach) as no plug in required - the van batteries charge as you go, and from solar panels. Its automatic, with powerful engine, which makes driving the many hairpin bends simple and easy allowing you to enjoy the views. Rob is a fantastic - friendly and loads of good advice and help. Pickup and drop-off very quick and efficient.
