  Best van for hire in New Zealand in my opinion. Perfect for off Roading and seeing far out places. Honza was great to deal with!

  This was the perfect vehicle for my wife and I to fish the rivers of New Zealand and camp in remote locations (away from crowds). Everything about this vehicle was perfect for us. It is one of very few rentals available that has offroad 4x4 capabilities, plus good camping capability. Other vans out there do not have the clearance or 4 wheel drive to to access many of the river access points. This van is built for that. We were easily able to find secluded camping locations at river access sites. The van includes a nice rooftop tent to sleep in. It was very convenient, we could deploy it in about 30 seconds, and put away in about 1 minute. The bed is very comfortable. The van includes a nice simple water system. A fresh water tank with easy to connect external pump and hoses for washing dishes and outdoor showers. The system can be up and running in about 1 minute. The van includes an awning, but we did not use it. If the weather happened to be bad, we spent a bit of time in the rear of the van, there is a seat for 2 people that can swivel to face forward or sideways, looking out the sliding side door, which was actually very nice to hang out in. The van contains nice sliding drawers out in the back, so you have an outdoor kitchen with the back door open. It also contains a external cooler/refridgerator that was very nice. The owner has set up a really nice electrical system to power the refrigerator, water pump, and charge devices that runs off a separate battery charged when you are driving (but the system will not allow discharge of starter battery while camping so no worry there). The battery will last at least 2 days running the refrigerator. It was clear from using this van that the owner has put a lot of time and effort into setting it up properly. He was very easy to work with, responded quickly to inquiries, gave us a great intro to the van when we got it, and even delivered it to our hotel. Excellent rental van for fishing and exploring New Zealand, I will be renting it again on my next visit.

  Well folks, This isnt gonna be this complicated. Just hire this van. Honza is a lovely owner that will explain everything to you. The van is fully functional, good for off road. Even locals looked this van in a way that they wanted it. Had a lot of compliments on this one and i can understand it was awesome. 100% Happy to have traveled around NZ in this one and not another one. Cheers

  We are a family of four. Our trip was great in the Delica. We love it! The roof tent is very easy and quick to set up and is amazingly spacious. 2 slept in the tent and 2 slept in the van. The 2 matresses were confortable enough and we all slept well. The van is very well organised and set up. Jan was friendly, gave us advice, answered our messages right away. We thank him for this amazing aventure.

  This van is amazing as are Jan/the Delica Adventure team. They were incredibly communicative and supportive of our trip. The van is wonderful for anyone looking to take their time and wanting to do some off the beaten track adventures. We slept wonderfully in the tent on top while our kids slept inside. The van is well equipped and fun to drive. We highly recommend it! Pack light and let the Delica team guide your adventure.
