- External Parking Height 2.30m. - Internal Standing Height 1.50m. Tolls & fines & parking: Tolls, fines, and parking are your responsibility. Any costs incurred will be charged upon returning the van. Luggage Storage: Bringing a suitcase? You can store it with us safely, with no added costs. Returning time for the van: Please return it by 2 pm. End of Hire Clean: You receive our van in spotless clean & tidy conditions. We use ONLY eco-friendly products. We ask you to return the van in a reasonably clean condition (vacuumed, fridge cleaned, cupboards cleaned, no rubbish, if you have used toilet, please dispose of it at the dump station). But If you don't want to worry about the cleaning at all, please add the "Clean the Van for me" to your booking.

Hiring rules

• No Smoking
• No pets
• No driving on beach
• No driving near river beds
• No off roading
• No driving on unsealed roads (10km insurance allowance to reach a campsite)
• No climbing on the roof
• No sitting on the back garage door
• Payment of a deposit is required within 48hrs of your booking being approved, otherwise it may be automatically canceled
• Any damage must be reported immediately
• Cooking gas to be returned full – refill from petrol stations and keep the receipt
• Pull over immediately if any engine lights come on. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe and call Camplify on 03 668 1211 – they will advise on how to contact roadside assistance. Then call me!

• Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

  Leo and Eva were very easy to work with, and their van, Goldie, was awesome for my New Zealand adventure! Lots of room for packing away my gear, and the bed was very comfortable for sleeping. I cooked several meals in the van and the pots, pan, silverware and dishware were all adequate for my needs. I would recommend Goldie to anyone, and am already scheming my next trip to NZ for more time cruising around with Goldie!

  So happy we got to hire this van. It was amazing and made our trip such a memorable one! Eva & Leo were amazing hosts and gave us lots of info about the van to make sure we were comfortable handling the van. They were so welcoming on our arrival and the return process was really smooth too. Would definitely hire from them again when we make our next trip. Thanks again Leo & Eva! :)

  Were so happy we chose Goldie as our van for 1 month road trip across New Zealand! Its such a great car, everything works perfectly well, the living area is surprisingly big, we were also surprised that theres so much space for things! Everythings thought through, we had no problems with electricity or water or the toilet. Also its a bit higher than the usual vans which makes living in it much more comfortable. Eva is an amazing person who really cares about the car and the whole experience. We got all of the instructions and delicious sandwiches and snacks after the long trip to New Zealand. Seriously - if anyone is in doubt which van to choose - Goldie is the right choice. Once were back we will definitely be back for her!

  Aaron B. 5 December 2025 Eva is amazing! She and her husband have done a wonderful job on their build out of their van Goldie! everything is well thought out and efficiently designed. My wife and I traveled the perimeter of both north and south islands over a month period and Goldie held up great! Eva is very good at communicating and extremely helpful, we would definitely rent from her again!

  The van has everything you need for the perfect NZ trip. Lots of storage space, outdoor shower, water tanks, etc. And Eva welcomes you with a fresh drink and all the instructions you need to get started. Highly recommend and would definitely book again for my next trip.
