Welcome! Ready for an adventure around New Zealand? If you want a fun, unique van thats full of character to make epic road trip memories in, Phoebe is your gal- she is not an old vehicle so less maintenance on those long trips. Please help keep Phoebe fit and healthy checking the oil and water regularly is a must and mileage needs to be kept to max 200km per day. If you're planning a trip around the whole of NZ in a week this may not be the van for you! Phoebe has a solar panel and extra battery to run a built in refrigerator which is a great size and extra handy during summer. You can also charge basic items off the extra battery. Phoebe can also be booked for one way trips - drop-off in Auckland or Christchurch! WHAT YOU'LL BE PROVIDED WITH: SLEEPING: The seating area fits together to become a double sized bed for two. Bring your own linen (sheets, towels), or we can arrange this for you at an additional cost. KITCHEN: Phoebe comes with a fully equiped kitchen (pots, pans, plates, cutlery, glasses, mugs), a portable gas stove, clean running water, great storage space . The grey water tank is easy to empty, please do so regularly if you are using a lot of water, only in the designated places (these are always clearly signposted). Solar: She is solar equiped so you can run your devices off her. TOILET: Phoebe comes with a portable 12L toilet, along with all the chemicals needed. If used please empty before returning, otherwise a $40 fee will incur. OTHER AMENITIES: Phoebe comes with an outdoor table, and two chairs. We have other items for hire at additional cost such as surfboards, bikes and more! Phoebe is a backpackers dream vehicle to get off the beaten track and explore this beautiful country. EVERY VEHICLE MUST BE RETURNED BY 12PM ON THE RETURN DATE, as per our strict return policy. Unless otherwise discussed and agreed upon at the time of booking, a late fee will apply. Returns exceeding 5 hours late will incur a full-day hire charge, while delays under 5 hours will be charged at a half-day hire rate.
