Availability

Hiring rules

• No smoking.
• Awning must be packed away before bad weather arises.
• Fuel return filled with unleaded fuel. All hires include a full tank upon departure.
• Toilet cassette and grey water to be emptied. Failure to do so will result in an excess cleaning fee of $150.00.
• Excess kilometre charges. $0.20 per km after reaching 200kms per day.
• Vehicle must be returned in a clean state (No mess or rubbish left in the van, Cooking area cleaned, Fridge cleaned etc.) or you’ll risk a cleaning fee.

• Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

  We had the most fantastic time in Bluebird and so glad we chose this van over any other we looked at. It was perfectly set-up, that even if you get rain (yes we had some rain lol) you still enjoy chilling inside. The bed is super comfy and so convenient that it's fixed. Bluebird was so easy to drive even for someone like me not used to driving larger vehicles, and still fitted fine in busy places like supermarket carparks and busier towns. Communication with Andy was seamless. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this van in a heartbeat, you won't be disappointed

  We had a fantastic time with this van ! Its a comfortable and warm bed, great cooking facilities , the toilet is easy to use and so good to have , nice van to drive , so spacious , close to the airport , a lovely welcome too on arrival , we will use this van again on our next trip for sure !

  We rented bluebird for 34 nights and it was the perfect van for our trip through both the north and south island. You will feel like a local, so much better than all those other commercial campervans! The owners are super friendly. We really liked cooking inside, the way it drove, the awning, the fine touches, the toilet and above all the bed was super comfortable!   What a great van for a holiday. The van had everything required to enable a comfortable and easy holiday. The mattress was a 10/10 for comfort (and that's coming from 2 middle aged ladies). Was fantastic to be completely self contained, with ease of access to gas cooking, running water/sink and plenty of storage in the back and within the van itself. Couldn't fault it in any way. Was also well insulated as even late September we were very snug and warm. Would highly recommend and will most definitely use again.

  My partner and I had a wonderful time in Bluebird. The van was clean, functioned perfectly and have everything you needed to explore the beautiful countryside of NZ. The handover was seamless and easy! Couldnt recommend it highly enough! Thank you Andy!
