Welcome to my listing Wander Wagon - It's available for you to enjoy the wonders of the North and South Island of NZ! Self contained certified for three, 2 adults + 1 child. Main bed is full King Size bed or 2 singles. Third bed is a Hammock style bunk above one side of main bed. The vehicle has a solar panel which will keep the house battery & fridge powered. Power points & microwave will only work if you are connected to a powered site at a Campground. The Camp is fully kitted out with all mode requirements. 70-Litre water tank with 80-litre Grey water which will last about 2 to 3 days with careful water use. I recommend to top up fresh water & empty grey water about every 2nd day. There is a separate water tank that flushes the toilet. The kitchen comes with all the basic living equipment for a home away from home. We supply all kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery. Fresh linen and bedding is provided. A Double burner Gas Hob with a Gas grill is in the Camper. There is a double burner gas camp stove with a reversible cast iron plate for outside cooking/barbecuing. Two/three luxury camp chairs & a fold out table for out door relaxing & eating. A 4 metre side awning is fitted to add shelter from the sun. Easy to wind out and set up. It does need to be retracted at night and should not be left unattended if you are away from the vehicle for any lenght of time. It should also be retracted in windy conditions. **We are happy to provide a pickup/drop off from Auckland Airport with the motorhome if required or from a similar location in Auckland. Please select airport pick option in the extras selection. Kms are recoded from Cambridge & return after hire if this option is chosen. Thank you for checking our Wander Wagon. We had a great holiday in Wanda Wagon. She was a bit slow on the motorways but the van has everything you need.

We had a great getaway in Wanda! I was confident driving the manual and it handled really well. The bed is really comfortable and there was everything we needed for our trip. Thanks!

The van is very tidy for its age and condition. Easy to drive, comfortable and a pleasure to stay in. The access to everything is easy and has everything on board. One thing that needs a minor addressing is the fridge door shelf, this need to be replaced as with weight on it all it falls off, other than that its 100% the best van for the price range.

First of all, Jenny is a wonderful person who made sure our experience with the van was the best. Van is super well-equipped, comfy, spacious, tho with all this equipment lacking a bit of space for personal belongings. But it has all the space you need for a super comfortable journey around NZ, having warm showers and dinners every night on the side of the road (water lasts for 4 eco-showers). We spent 3 weeks in it doing the whole 6000km trip around both islands. Even though the van has its years and mileage, it seems very well-maintained and indestructible, like a good old German tank it is. We never felt it can disapoint us. Although, seeing the other reviews we were already prepared it is SLOW. And yes, be prepared to let go all vehicles behind you. We weren't in a hurry and basically chose to pay less for an older slower van instead of a newer but smaller one without showers etc. Well the reality was that it can easilly keep up 100kph on flat and do the needed KMs on long trips, but it's motor is loud all the time and has real tough time going on steep uphills. Arthur's Pass and way to Milford Sound were the toughest, it slowed down to 1st gear, but we did it. The 1st gear in it is very efficient and can move the vehicle even on steepest hill, just slowly and with a nice big black puff of smoke behind you :) Upside is after a super steep climb and long day with a noisy motor, you pull over on a nice seeside view, turn off the noise maker and immerse the beauty through the living part you access directly from the seat (i never used the drivers door, direct hop to the sofa-bed!). We already miss the living part and places Wanda took us! (and feeling like a good ol' truck driver)

Everything was fantastic. Wanda is comfortable, it has everything you need during your campervan trip. Jenny is flexible, helpful and always there if needed. The only thing you need to keep in mind that Wanda doesn't like steep roads...
