This 2013 Lunar Ariva is a compact, well-kept 2 berth caravan that’s easy to tow and simple to manoeuvre, including into tighter driveways or sites. Lightweight and practical, it’s a great option for couples wanting a comfortable and straightforward setup. Inside, the lounge converts to either two single beds or a double bed. The layout includes bench seating, a central cabinet with drawers, table extension, LED reading lights, and good storage throughout. Curtains and flyscreens are fitted to all windows and the door. The caravan is fully self-contained with a bathroom including shower, hand basin, and Thetford cassette toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils, pots, pans, plates, cutlery, and all the essentials you need for your stay. It also includes a stainless steel sink, Thetford cooker with 3 gas burners and 1 electric hotplate, grill and oven, microwave, and a 3-way fridge/freezer. For comfort, the caravan has a Truma Combi hot water system with ducted heating. Power options include a 160W solar panel, deep cycle battery, and external water and grey waste tanks, making it suitable for both powered sites and off-grid stays. A brand new Dometic Rally Air Pro 260s awning is included, along with motor movers for easy positioning, TV/DVD player, satellite dish aerial, new tyres, long power lead, gas bottle, and caravan cover. A tidy, easy-to-tow caravan that’s well equipped for a relaxed and comfortable getaway.

Special towing information

UK tow ball required: This caravan is fitted with a UK-style tow coupling. A UK tow ball is required and is supplied with the caravan. Tow ball mounting brackets vary between vehicles, so the tow ball itself or the entire bracket may need to be swapped. To make changeover quick and easy, I recommend loosening your existing tow ball before arrival. If you are unsure whether your vehicle setup is compatible, please check in advance or get in touch.

This caravan is fitted with a UK-style tow ball coupling. A UK tow ball is required to tow the caravan. A UK tow ball is supplied with the caravan. However, tow ball mounting brackets can vary between vehicles. To make the changeover quick and straightforward, we recommend loosening your existing tow ball before arrival so the UK tow ball can be swapped over easily if required. If your vehicle is already fitted with a compatible UK tow ball and bracket, no changes will be needed. If not, we will assist with the swap at handover. If you’re unsure whether your vehicle setup is compatible, feel free to get in touch prior to collection.

Hiring rules

  • No smoking or vaping inside the caravan at any time.
  • Hirer is responsible for returning the caravan clean and in the same condition as collected.
  • Please tow within the caravan’s rated limits and follow all NZ towing regulations.
  • Any damage or issues must be reported as soon as practicable.
  • Dogs must not be left unattended in the caravan at any time.
  • A full gas bottle is supplied and must be returned full on return. Failure to do so may result in an additional charge.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Emma is a fantastic host, easy to deal with and good communication. Luna is the perfect caravan for 2 people with good amenities and very clean and tidy. It had everything we needed the the informationguide was very helpful. It has solar so can charge phones etc off grid. Fridge and hot water runs off gas or 240v. Shower was great. Bed is very comfortable. We would definitely hire again and highly recommend.
