Sylvia Rose is very well suited to New Zealand road trip adventures. It is easy to drive and works as well in powered campsites as it does in the wild wilderness “off the grid”. Elegant and comfortable and a pleasure to spend time in. It is perfect for a couple on an adventure, but has plenty of space for another two people to sleep in comfort if you are travelling as a party of three or four people. Very easy to drive and powerful engine when you need it. All the comforts you would expect from a quality motorhome and plenty of storage space. Our motorhome is a 2021 Dethleffs 7057DBL if you want to look up the specifications.

Additional information

Sylvia Rose has a TV and DVD player and has an option to add mobile WIFI if required ($50.00 for 60GB) The motorhome has solar panels to supplement the batteries while off the grid. All bedding plus spares for both Queen beds is supplied along with towels and tea towels. The kitchen is stocked with all crockery,glasses,cutlery and pans that you should need. Basic tools and cleaning products also supplied. Just bring your clothes and you are ready to go. Hire Fee: From $250.00 per day
Service fee: $150.00
Delivery fee: $1.50 per km

Cancellations

Strict

Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

We had a wonderful 9 week trip with Sylvia Rose. Communication with Jo was great. The bed is super comfy and warm, even through the rather chilly summer. Sylvia Rose has plenty of space for storing our personal items, either in the garage in the back or in the cupboards. It's well stocked with everything you'll need on your trip, chairs, table, pans, kettle, toaster, even a DVD player with a collection of films and a boom box. Sylvia Rose is easy to drive, consumption is ca 10.5 l/100 km. Don't panic because of Adblue, when the alarm goes off you have more than 1000 km to find a pump. We had a great experience and wouldn't hesitate to rent this van again. Thanks Jo and Paul for your amazing service !

So well stocked we could literally just grab clothes and go! This Campervan is the perfect size for any couple or family and the bed that magically appears from the sky is a perfect sleeping haven. We will be booking this van again soon!
