Hiring rules

• 📅 Holiday & Public Holiday Handovers
• Pickup and dropoff on the following dates require prior arrangement:
• 25 Dec, 26 Dec, 1 Jan, 2 Jan, and Easter Friday–Monday.
• (Public holiday pickups/dropoffs sometimes carry extra planning effort—please arrange in advance.)
• 🍲 No StrongSmelling Cooking or smoking / vaping
• Cooking odorous foods or smoking / vaping inside the camper is prohibited. Upto a $500.00 cleaning fee maybe applied if this rule is breached.
• 🐾 No Pets
• Pets are not allowed. Only approved assistance animals may be carried.
• ⛽ Refuelling & Waste Disposal
• Vehicle must be returned with Full tank of diesel, Full AdBlue, Gas bottle refilled, Grey & black water tanks empty Noncompliance results in a $150.00 fee, plus actual costs to refill/use.
• 🧼 Cleanliness Standards
• Return the camper clean, with dishes done, grey/septic tanks emptied and the BBQ if hired clean. Failure to do so could incurs fees up to $150.00.
• 🌂 Awning Damage
• Any damaged awning will incur an additional charge due to the high risk of body damage.
• 🛣️ Road Use & RUCs
• Road User Charges (RUC) apply based on odometer reading upon return: $0.09/km.
• **Permitted only on sealed roads**.
• The following are strictly offlimits: Skippers Road (Queenstown), Ball Hutt Road (Mt. Cook), Ninety Mile Beach (Northland), Colville Township north (Coromandel), and any skifield access roads.
• ⏱️ Pickup & Dropoff Times
• All pickups and returns must occur between 08:00–16:00, unless otherwise arranged.
• Allow around 60 min for pickup procedures and 20 min for dropoff.

• Hirer must be 22 years of age or older.

  Hands down, best holiday ever! With everything at our fingertips, bbq, toilet, shower, bikes, awning and ultimate comfort with comfy beds and duvets, our holiday in our first motorhome was an experience we will never forget! Communication with Rod was prompt and super helpful from the beginning right up to returning home. We converted the bottom bunk in to our wardrobe of suitcases, using the side doors for easy access was a treat. The extra attention we received was hiring bikes and accepting our online food shopping so we could take off on our adventure with ease and grace - we literally travelled like queens, with cold beers and food stored in our fridge!!! We pray the next hirers take care of pebbles (we named her Berty ), so we can come back and hire her in a year from now. So make sure you do the right thing and drive her well. Thanks Rod, youre the man bro!

  Rod went above and beyond for this hire meeting us very early to do the hand over so we could make our flight. Pre and post inspection was extremely professional and easy. The van drives like a car and is very comfortable. An excellent experience and added to our very enjoyable trip. Thank you Rod

  Rod was a great host and his camper Pebbles was fantastic. Communication was clear and quick, the camper has a low mileage and was very clean and well maintained. Great value for money. We would definitely recommend renting Pebbles!

  Amazing trip. Why have we not been to New Zealand sooner?!? Rod is really good with communication and flexibility with drop off and pick up. The price was better than quotes from bigger companies. The motor home itself is just perfect. Still quite new. All the fixtures work perfectly - we refrigerated, froze, cooked, baked, showered, used the toilet, just no time for TV! Very comfortable beds. My husband and I took the largest one, above the cab. A little claustrophobic, I ended up lying horizontally across one end of the bed instead. We would have fit into one of the bunks if it was a real issue, as they are super wide and tall. Power never ran low. We needed water filling every day or 2, depending on whether we showered in the van. Driving and parking were easy. Just no problems at all. Thanks for renting us your beautiful motorhome, Rod!

  We had a blast in this motorhome, it served us well for almost 11 days in our south island journey. Rodney was very prompt in responding to my questions via messaging, and went one step further to pick us up from Christchurch airport.
