The Swift Escape 686 is the perfect motorhome for families. In perfect condition with very little mileage, smooth to drive and comfortable to sleep. Swifty has two full size double beds, so even the tallest of the family can stretch their legs out. Swifty has a manual transmission so experience of driving manual vehicles is required.

Hiring rules

  • 1. No offroad driving / beach driving / extended driving on gravel roads.
  • 2. Driving on unsealed roads must be preapproved in writing (in Camplify Messages) before the trip begins.
  • 3. No smoking inside / pets only upon application / no festivals.
  • 4. Awning must be packed away before bad weather arises.
  • 5. Vehicle must be returned cleaned or you’ll risk a cleaning fee, including emptying of wastewater tank.
  • 6. Pickup / dropoff times and location are on agreement.
  • 7. Any damage must be reported immediately – who, what, where and when will be required.
  • 8. Pull over immediately if any engine lights come on. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe and call Camplify on 0800 779 779 – they will advise on how to contact roadside assistance. Then call me!
  • 9. Payment of a deposit is required within 48hrs of your booking being approved, otherwise I may cancel it.
  • 10. Road User Charges are additional to your daily hire rate and charged at 0.09c per km travelled ($9.00 per 100km). The cost is calculated on return via the Camplify pre/post checklist.
  • 12. All hires include a full tank of diesel upon departure. Hirer’s to ensure a filled tank of diesel on return.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Nice trip in Swifty. Comfortable beds. Particularly handy that the top bed was already made up, and the bedding for the rear bed included a mattress topper to smooth out the cushions. Very easy. The van was easy to drive with a smooth manual transmission, and very well equipped with everything supplied in the kitchen. Plenty of toilet sachets, rubbish bags and even laundry detergent. Some small minor maintenance issues, that I passed on, nothing that impacted anything for us. I'd hire again. Thank you

    Fantastic, We hired it, for 4 adults. Heaps of room. Easy to drive, Neat clean and tidy van. Everything worked like it should. Very happy, Would hire again.
