Hiring rules

  • Additional free of $0.08 per km to cover RUC charges.
  • No smoking inside the motor home.
  • Will be supplied with a full tank of diesel so must be returned full.
  • The motorhome must be returned with fresh water, grey water tank and toilet cassette emptied.
  • Please return with a clean interior.
  • Do not drive on the beach or unsealed or off road.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    We had an amazing 2 weeks in Helli. It was great to have our home with us wherever we went. We have traveled a lot, all round the world, and this has probably been the best way to travel. It's camping without worrying about the weather, Airbnb with a changing view. Hassle-free, clean, with a great set up, especially with the pulldown bed that you don't need to make up everyday. Easy to drive, and not noisy unless you don't stop the rattling bits, which is simple to do with the odd tea-towel. All the bits and bobs make it easy to have a great holiday. It was brilliant, thanks!

    The van travelled well, and was well appointed. I would rate this Motor home as great for short trips -2 4 hours as the cabin road noise can get loud. We brought our own linen and were very cosy on some rather wet and not ideal weather days.

    We had such a great time in heli it is so well set up and perfect for travelling! Karen was super easy to deal with and we will definitely book again thank you so much really made our trip!

    Great, exactly what we required, Dermot went the extra mile - picked us up from the train station and dropped us back after we returned the van :)

    This was our third trip in Heli and it was great again. Karen and Dermot are easy to deal with and communication was spot on.
