***4 berth premium Motorhome*** Jewel is a very spacious 2020 Fiat Ducato Dethleff Trend i7057DBM with all the features you would expect from the quality Dethleff range, including the popular Queen-sized Island bed in a private bedroom, and the unique motorhome build with the flat nose allows for the large front entertaining & dining lounge with fantastic panoramic windows for watching the world go by. Jewel has a huge external storage garage easily able to safely transport all of your luggage, outdoor camping equipment and if selected any toys such as portable gas BBQ, boogie boards etc. You will be amazed at the sheer size of the outdoor awning (over 5 meters) allowing you the luxury of ‘alfresco dining, and with an added solar panel making it 2 x 100W solar panels you have total control of where you stay (freedom camping) without having to book into camp ground mains power, and if you just feel like kicking back and not going anywhere the TV/DVD with satellite dish will keep you company, true glamping. Jewel is super cozy and warm during the colder winter nights with thermal insulation in the walls and a powerful gas & electric heater, or alternatively, all windows & roof vents have mosquito nets for the warmer summer nights. The super comfortable Queen Island bed (1900cm x 1500cm) in the rear private bedroom allows both Mum & Dad the luxury of getting in and out of the bed without having to clamber over each other unless you still want to of course..............and a 2nd bed is the very convenient drop down queen bed which stows away easily in the ceiling during the day, and as Jewel is certified for 4 people you have 4 seat belts which is so flexible for Mum, Dad and the kids, or 2 bestie couples. Come and experience all our beautiful country has to offer, but don't hesitate as Jewel is fast becoming one of our most requested motorhomes.

Hiring rules

  • Strictly No smoking, No Pets Thanks
  • Not to be taken on to Beach or Unsealed Roads
  • NO driving on ski access roads or shingle roads, except campground access roads
  • NO Party,
  • If you choose No linen to be provided, YOU MUST bring your own linen.
  • The grey water/Black Water tank must be returned empty. Toilet/bathroom/kitchen must be clean and tidy otherwise $100.00 cleaning fee applies
  • We have prepurchased a set amount of RUC for your trip This amount will be calculated and charged at the rate of $0.09 per kilometer driven ($9.00 for 100 kilometers). This will be included in the drop of charges with Camplify at the end of the booking.
  • Any damage not covered by your insurance must be paid for by the renter(typical example....putting incorrect fuel into tank etc)
  • No smoking inside or under the motorhome awning or a deodorization fee may apply.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    We caught a ferry to Beachlands from Auckland city which was a great way to get to the pick up point where Garry met us. Jewel is easy enough to drive, although the size does take a bit of getting used to. Parking in shopping centre carparks can be a bit challenging sometimes as Jewel will take up two parking bays. Jewel has all the basic requirements to prepare meals. Having the separate shower and toilet was great. Garry was great to deal with and even dropped us at the airport after meeting him at a pre-arranged point.

    The van was fantastic, comfortable and easy to drive once I got use to it. Economical considering its size, would definitely hire again. Garry is a great guy, very kind and hospitable, Goes out of his way to help. Highly recommend hiring Garrys vans.
